Multiple Notifications for a Single Event

Every time I have an event notification, I get 8-10 notifications for the same event, all coming at the exact same time or within a few seconds of each other.
While I notice this most with my calendar events, I've also had this happen with email notifications too.
My only thoughts are that it might be from multiple different sources such as 1) the calendar panel, 2) Google Calendar sending web notifications, 3) multiple notification times (1h before, 15mins before, 0mins before) coming at the same time.
Is there a way to change this? I love getting the notifications, but I'm not a fan of getting on my computer (windows) and seeing 45+ notifications like this morning.

@kevin2holt We have had issues in the past with multiple windows triggering multiple notifications, so if you have more than one window then that might explain this. I however doubt that you have 45+ windows open so there is probably something more to it.
There are some fixes for how notifications are handled in version 5.1 which was released earlier today, so upgrading your browser might fix the issue. Please ping me here if you still have problems after the upgrade.

@eggert The example (img) above I only had one window/tab open. And I very rarely have more than 10-15 tabs (2-3 windows) open at a single time.

@kevin2holt I don't know what this is about. I can not reproduce anything similar but I am on mac and this may be OS dependent. We do have some devs and coworkers on Windows not showing this behaviour though so there is something more to it.
Is it possible that you have the same event in multiple calendars, like f.ex. shared with family members or coworkers that you have synced but hidden. If you do have such a situation there is a setting to disable notifications for hidden calendars.

@eggert Thanks for your help. I'm still new to vivaldi (1+weeks), so I wasn't sure if I had messed up some setting or had done something weird.
At this point, I'm just going to throw in a little bit more info for if/when someone eventually looks further into it.
Info:
I currently only have one calendar account linked to vivaldi. That is my Google calendar. I do have many multiple calendars (shared/mine) on my Google account. However, as far as I am aware, there shouldn't be any overlap of any events. Specifically, for this example, my "Psychology Class" event is only in my default calendar and not any of the others (have confirmed).
In vivaldi, the only calendars that I have hidden/muted are my Google Tasks calendars. I don't get any of those notifications (as I would expect).
Other Technical info (in case it's helpful)
Surface Pro 5 (Windows 10, ver. 21H2)

@kevin2holt If you open an event that has triggered multiple notifications, f.ex. this one with title "Psychology Class", does it have just one reminder configured or could it possibly have multiple reminders with the same time?
Probably that is not the case, but just in case better to be sure.
