Vivaldi freezes for a few seconds sometimes
-
Not related to a specific activity. Sometimes switching to different tab using ctrl-tab or ctrl-shift-tab, or opening a new tab using ctrl-t is laggy, takes sometimes several seconds fro Vivaldi to be responsive again. I am not entirely sure but I think this started a few days ago.

Any ideas, or at least any ideas what should I check or how could I understand what is going on?

@random818171 I'm curious what you mean by "responsive again".
When I type Ctrl_T and start typing a new destination, my Vivaldi 5.0.2497.48 (Stable channel) (64-bit) on Windows 10 has been missing the first character of the new URL. It has already "responded" by drawing the new tab, so it doesn't seem like the whole program is lagging, and it gets the second character I type so it isn't pausing for "several seconds". But the missing first character is unmistakable...

That can happen and sometimes it misses even an entire word, but now it started kind of not even responding (doesn't open tab for seconds, or doesn't jump to next tab for seconds).
Probably should install chromium or firefox and compare it's just a bit of a pain when you have everything set up in one browser. So not responding = you do things and nothing happens, responsive = things start happening when you do something.
