      Vivaldi 5.0.2497.32 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
      Windows 10 home

I have disabled all Google services and also logged off sync.
Still, it automatically asks for a Google sign in every 10 minutes.

How can this be disabled under Vivaldi?

I have activated mail in Vivaldi with IMAP and it works.

Did you - by any chance - set up a Gmail account? This kind of pop-up used to appear for users who set up their Gmail accounts in the Vivaldi mail client (or calendar). AFAIK, in order to dismiss that popup, you had to log in once for each service (mail and calendar, if you use any).

Hi, Google services and Vivaldi sync are complete independent.
To make it more clear to me, you reading the Vivaldi forum and a Google window pop up for a log in to Google?
Do you have the Vivaldi mail client running with a Google mail account?

          Cheers, mib

            Hello mib
Thank you for the quick answer. Attached is the picture as a window.

            sign-in with google.jpg

I have activated mail in Vivaldi with IMAP and it works.
Google Drive is always active as a pinned bookmark.

But I don't know how to deactivate the reminder.
On the internet it is described how to do it with the Chrome browser, but not with Vivaldi.

            Sporting greetings

                Congrats and much more.

                Yes, it is the calendar.

When I installed Vivaldi, I did put the Google calendar there, but never really worked with the Vivaldi calendar. Custom, habits and rites were simply stronger.

Now I have to say, I will never use any other calendar than this one from Vivaldi.
The thing is absolutely brilliant. For example, to enter the time of an event, all you need is the wheel of the mouse - sensationally user-friendly. And the overview is liberating.

What a Christmas present. Many thanks to you and the team.

I removed Google from the calendar options. I hope that works. I'm tired of Google, except for email storage. I'm going to completely switch over to Vivaldi email as my primary account. Whew.

I'm glad I found this thread, as it made me think of checking calendar settings-sync.

I've been having exactly the same problem since I synced my Google calendar. Very annoying full-page new window asking for Google sign-in. Thanks for this thread!
