@npro itβs quite weird that only one exclusively plasma-focused distro is on the list. i mean, they could consider listing ones such as chakra (no, i havenβt got any experience with it, but itβs the first one i think of when remembering plasma-focused distros).

@potmeklecbohdan I guess they could suggest KaOS

@guigirl i was almost going to re-check how plasmaβs wayland session has improved (because i only experienced it as awfully broken β which for me means that i had to kill if from another tty every time), till i remembered that it means messing with quanta of packages & that plasma itself is somewhere far away from my area of interest.

@guigirl typical linux-users discussion right below?

@guigirl LOL, he mentioned the video of distrotube as his inspiration so I've gone there, watched it and I must say it was quite hilarious, seeing both fall apart. What a crap.
I don't remember right now and could be mistaken, was it zdnet who had a bunch of "gurus" of not paid journalism promoting that crap, saying things like "if you ask 100 people on the street about Linux you will hear "doboondo" so we should all embrace it" -
woohooo, "screw wayland hipsters*, Xorg Server 21.1 is out baby"
(why isn't there a cowboy wearing sunglasses smiley already and one has to post two...)

*ahem... me talking using systemd...

@guigirl Let the distrowars begin! Some good trolling in that thread admittedly
. I liked also this one:
I think Arch is overrated and more of a hassle than it's worth. If I want rolling-release, there's openSUSE TW that exists as an actual put-together distro instead of a bare-bones distro that needs everything manually configured. I'm of the opinion Arch is only for those with nothing better to do with their time besides tinker with their OS,...
Then user comes with some factual data...
