Drag and Drop Notes to Desktop
-
The ability to drag a note from the title tree onto the desktop (or elsewhere), and have it save as a .txt (or .rtf) would be an incredible time-saver.
Currently, one has to copy the body to the clipboard, paste it into a text editor, and save from there. Three steps would be reduced to one, and the functionality of the notes panel would be increased ten-fold.
As always, thank you!

@jdvernet Oh, why yes please!
AAANNNDDD While your at it why not be able to open .txt and .rtf files through the notes panel? -
@jdvernet , wil be a nice feature, meanwhile I use the SSuite- Blue Velvet Editor, it safes the files by default in Html format, so you can opnen them direct in Vivaldi, or upload it to Blue Velvet to edit. Also saves in rtf and works fine in Mobile, full page or Web Panel. Free, no registry needed, same for the rest of the online suite. Open and use it.

@jdvernet I don't get what the advantage is of having dozens of text files when we already have the notes safely saved and synchronised in Vivaldi.
If you want, you can assign a shortcut to export notes, and save the whole lot in individual text files, but the automated file-naming leaves a lot to be desired.

Example off the top of my head:
When I pay the light bill, I get a confirmation number. Select number --> Save as note --> Drag note to "Light Bill Confirmation Numbers" folder (in a larger "Receipts" folder) on desktop.A year and a half later, I'm on the phone will the light company as there's been a problem with my bill/payments. "Do you have the confirmation number for your October 2020 payment??"
"Sure do." Open folder, click "date modified", scan down to 10/20, read off the number it was probably auto-named.

Do we? Okay, let's make a back-up. With my way, I take my "Receipts" folder from above and drag it to a memory stick. In Vivaldi... Actually, I don't know. Hopefully, Vivaldi's cloud doesn't go down. Hopefully...
New or different computer? With my way, I take the above memory stick and plug it in. In Vivaldi, I have to install Vivaldi on new/different computer, log in, and wait for it to sync. Wait! The new/different computer currently has no internet access!
Tough luck...
(actually, my long term feature request is for Vivaldi to include your computer's desktop on the start page which would solve everything. But this is my 'baby step' solution)
