I can no longer open a file from Microsoft Sharepoint
-
Hello,
We have Sharepoint 2013 in my company and files are stored into Sharepoint team sites.
I can no longer open files (Excel for example).Template of those links:
https://teamsite........com/sites/NAME/Documents/..../Excel_file.xlsx?Web=1
The padlock near to the URL bar is red.
I use Vivaldi snapshot 3.8.2259.32 (64 bits)Thank you in advance for your help!

@primokorn This will be difficult to test and reproduce for another user without access to Sharepoint. It might be an issue internal to your network.
Please try the troubleshooting steps first:

Our Sharepoint seems to work fine for me:
Though this is from Office 365 so there might be a difference there.

@Gwen-Dragon I guess there's a new security restriction in a recent update.
I have no issue with Google Chrome 74.0.3729.157 (stock version of my company - outdated) and Iridium browser based on Chromium 85.0.4183.83.
I can only test Chromium based browsers having a portable version.Here is the warning I have before trying to access the page:
Votre connexion n'est pas totalement sécurisée
La configuration de sécurité obsolète de ce site peut exposer vos informations, comme vos mots de passe, vos messages ou vos cartes de crédit, lorsqu'elles lui sont transmises.
NET::ERR_SSL_OBSOLETE_VERSIONEnligsh version:
Your connection is not completely secure
The outdated security configuration of this site may expose your information, such as passwords, messages or credit cards, when transmitted to it.
NET::ERR_SSL_OBSOLETE_VERSIONEDIT:
TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 connection which is outdated and will be disabled by default soon. TLS 1.2 required! -
@primokorn Correct, you need to set the flag below to disabled:
vivaldi://flags/#legacy-tls-enforced
See:
https://security.googleblog.com/2018/10/modernizing-transport-security.html
https://blog.chromium.org/2019/10/chrome-ui-for-deprecating-legacy-tls.htmlYou should also be able to click Advanced on the interstitial page and the "Proceed..." and it should remember it (for a week I believe).

@Pathduck Thank you! I was already going to download an older release
Hope this flag will be maintained until my company upgrades to a newer TLS version... maybe in 4-5 years lol -
