@potmeklecbohdan It is intentional, we can still access edit history on the modifications board.
Yes really confusing since the icons aren't even related to the category but to the sub-category. I couldn't see anywhere (not even in the address (https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/34077/aero-compatibility) that the topic was a Feature Request...

@jane-n Thanks for those changes.
Maybe a detail for some but I'm not sure about the modification made on the
.timeago
(last update time) being placed on the top right of the post.
Visually, I understand why it has been changed (more aligned with the forum structure - always to be found at the exact same place (not randomly moved based on the length of the username)) but, functionally, for those (like me) who check that information regularly, we now need to look at the right side of the screen to get the information we had instantly before the forum update. Before :
I start to read a post and, immediately :- I know the user
- I know when the message was posted/last edited
Now :
I start to read a post but I have to immediately interrupt the reading by having a look at the right side of the screen (and it's a large one...) to know when the message was posted and then come back to the left side of the screen to read it.No problem with this

Kinda slow all forum operations on my end, posting, editing, visiting sub-forums or my profile.

Then it serves you right!
Good idea, I will check the mobile version.
Ok, same thing on mobile -
@code3 Vivaldi has a custom NodeBB theme. In the case of NodeBB, the theme affects basically everything that you see on the page. What I don’t know is how much they’ve fiddled with it.
@guigirl I didn’t realise that
@Stardust Look at the page carefully when you are logged in and there are some unread threads.

Filtering the Mark as Read based on typed words.
That new feature is fantastic! But it takes quite long to load the list, which is inconvenient when you have the necessary key combinations in muscle memory. And even worse when you
havehad a script that presses only the relevant item without bothering to expand the menu. -

Those Topic controls should be on both sides, top and bottom.
Even worst when one handed navigation on mobile.

@gwen-dragon theme issues should be reported directly to us, we're using a fork of the Persona NodeBB theme. If you do find a bug in the theme that's related to Persona and not our internal changes they need to be reported to the Persona theme repository.
If you however find bugs in the forum software itself you can use the NodeBB repository.
-
@catweazle Hey, that was a setting and it was not the default. And I thought it was funny...
-
@isak , not a problem, only for users who are very vague to move their eyes 5 degrees

Hi,
On latest Forum's update, previous to this one, there were also some problems, if I recall, were reported to NBB.
So,
A Topic with that info on what and where to address, would be helpful for present and future. It would contain the NBB Version as well as any other relevant information.
On a Post, it usually gets buried.

But doing a new thing, to use it, should be comfortable, more than just nicely designed.
You will work with it, instead of just contemplate it.
-
@zalex108, work with it? I do not know, if I do not want to quote someone who has posted half a year ago, at least for me it is not very relevant, if the post is 5 minutes ago or 3 hours ago. Well maybe for mods ocasionally

I understand, but the time movement is not do to the theme, it is part of the NodeBB update.
https://try.nodebb.org/topic/1/welcome-to-your-nodebb
So the question is more is NodeBB willing to fix it, should persona theme fix it, or should Vivaldi fix it themselves with their own code. -
