vivaldi is not installed at the system.
I don't get this, something got lost in translation, please try to write this in your native language?
-
@ian-coog: i mean when you are using the installer to install vivaldi
for the first time, not to make an update. -

download speed goes up and down -
@potmeklecbohdan: what do you mean? I saw your previous comment I could not work out if you are joking, you are satisfied, you aren't happy or what.
-
@guigirl: That will not be fixed for the final but I do have someone looking at it

@Zalex108 hmm…
Maybe that was the problem
Incompatible User Agent

@fotistsouv95: So you are saying the installer does not work for you on a machine that has never had Vivaldi installed?

[Tabs] Remove thumbnail from drag image
Notwithstanding all the other issues still present with tab dragging right now, I actually liked those thumbnail previews (I only wished they would only show up when dragging a tab out of the tab bar). Will they make a return?
Also, some bugs I really wish get fixed before the full release:
- Tab dragging is still completely broken in private windows (VB-77814)
- Dragging pinned tabs still results in an unnecessarily large preview (VB-77815)
- "Minimize Active Tab" still works terribly with this new tab dragging behaviour (VB-77817)
And I hope we get a simpler dragging behaviour back later on (VB-77816) - you know, for when you don't drag a tab outside the tab bar.

@Ruarí I am dissatisfied (though only slightly, since for me it’s just a visual annoyance). I have hidden the address bar & enabled focus page content on new tab and neither of these helps. The address field is focused in new tabs & windows.
-
@Ruarí As I was downloading the update the speed went speed up and slowed own (via the updater on macOS), some days it is fine others it is just a little slower.
-
@ruarí:edit: If vivaldi is not already installed the installer throw this error.
-
@Zalex108 someone please ban Zalex and remove his Moderator priviledge, we can't have a Opera user in here.
-
@potmeklecbohdan Right gotcha.
-
@fotistsouv95 I'll probably test this next weekend as I just ordered a new PC, and I'll install Vivaldi x64 on Win10 64bit for the first time on it. I hope everything gets installed OK
-
@fotistsouv95 Ok, will have a look.
-
@ian-coog: Just uninstall vivaldi and try to install again with the windows x64 installer
-
@ruarí: ok thank you for making this great browser

What!!? Opera user in the thread?

@Ruarí said in Vivaldi 3.7 RC 2 – Vivaldi Desktop Browser snapshot 2218.37/39:
@vort: well that is not the intention. If it is slowing you down it is likely a bug rather than by design
Ok, I hope for the fix.
Just to clarify: problem is that browser have some delay, which prevents reordering when time between start and stop of the dragging is small (did not measured, maybe 100-500ms). Dragging starts (tab is snapped to the cursor), but when it is stopped, tab remains at previous position. First I thought that I moved tab not too far enough. But after rechecking I am sure, that I position tab correctly.
