Issues with Schul.Cloud
-
Would this be considered an error in the programming of Google or is the user shooting themselves in the foot by disallowing certain cookies? I'm leaning towards the former but my webdev foo isn't good enough anymore to answer that with certainty.
I'm experiencing a similar problem with http://schul.cloud. Use of the platform is mandatory for our kid but we run into several technical issues. For most issues, you need to be logged in but one that anyone can verify (and I kindly ask that some of you do) is to try and click the links in the footer to the [email protected] mail. That one is encrypted via JavaScript and does nothing here.
What I'm trying to figure out is a) is this more or less the same problem and b) is this broken by design. I'd like to be certain before making a stink.

@leggewie Links in the footer work, the Email link immediately opens a new message in M3. I see no issues. Third party cookies are disabled, first party cookies allowed.

Thanks, @luetage.
Really makes me wonder what the issue is over here, then. I even have all cookies allowed. Do you allow pop-ups?
-
@leggewie No, popups are blocked. What you have to allow is Javascript, at least for the mailto links.
-
Javascript is allowed.

Good idea, becm. Turns out that normal mailto-links are working just fine.
