Solved DuckDuckGo Mystery {is in HTML mode}
-
Ok, i'm baffled (again). I think i've done something in V to break DuckDuckGo's normal behavoir.
If I enter https://DuckDuckGo.com & hit ENTER I get a page with the usual stuff in the center but nothing in the top right corner where Settings should be.
If I type my search term into the box it doesn't search for it but immediately switches to:
https://html.duckduckgo.com/html . I can then type in a search term and it will do a normal search - in it's "HTML" mode.But if I try https://duckduckgo.com/settings and hit ENTER I get this page:
where those 2 choices aren't linksAnd at no time on any of the pages shown are there any icons for settings. I tried starting V with no extensions but it still acts the same.
Anyone have a clue here?

No, JS is enabled.
Whoops that's not true. JS was enabled for html.duckduckgo.com/html but for DuckDuckGo.com it was blocked! Clearing that solved the problem. Thank you again!

Have you disabled javascript for DDG? It needs to be enabled for the normal version of the site.
