How Can I Place Bookmark Folder Icon On My Toolbar ?
-
Happy New Year Everyone !
I'm trying to come up with a method to place a shortcut icon on my toolbar so as to provide easy access to my saved bookmarks without having to use an extension from the play store to do so. Since this browser is so customizable I really thought that it would be pretty easy to do so.
Thanks,

Hi,
As always, I'm SO appreciative of any/all replies that I receive, I think that I'll continue to be patient and see if I get anymore replies. Not to offend anyone in any way, but so far the vivaldihook option looks promising, I've never tried using it before so I would have to have a learn as I go attitude with it.
(Update #1)
I just downloaded the zip file of vivaldihooks, I haven't extracted the file as of yet because I want to make sure that I extract the file to the proper location. By the way, for reference I'm currently utilizing the following:Vivaldi 3.6.2160.3 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision 84f53a0c0971a37f43c8f2eb4436abbdc5051df9
OS Windows 10 OS Version 2009 (Build 19042.685)(Update #2)
I extracted the file to the following location: C:\Users\davyp\Downloads\Unzipped Files\VivaldiHooks , evidently that wasn't the proper location because at least so far I can't get the application to function properly. I'm probably just making this too hard on myself, possibly it might be due to what happened the other day @ the united states capital building. That event had special meaning to me due to the fact that both of my sons are u.s. goverment employees in the justice department, thank goodness they don't work in that area.

@Davy49 Presumably you're trying to save space by hiding the Bookmarks Bar?
You could just use the access key shortcut: Alt+B for the English user interface.

@guigirl , Well once again by coming here in the vivaldi forums area & asking a question & receiving some helpful replies it makes me realize even more how grateful I am to be using a great browser & be among fellow user's that still care about other's & actually try to provide thoughtful answers to them. I'm surely going to take your valid advice & not use the vivaldihooks method & I just wanted to let you know that I'm currently trying out the bookmark extension via the link you included in your reply. Of course I don't object at all to using extensions as long as they provide what I'm wanting them to. As it turns out, I seem to be liking the one you mentioned better than the one I had been using: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/neater-bookmarks/ofgjggbjanlhbgaemjbkiegeebmccifi
(Update) One thing I personally dislike while using the tidy bookmarks extension is not being able to delete the 'other bookmarks' folder, even though I've gotten older now if my memory serves me correctly I think that I remember trying the tidy bookmarks a long time ago with a different chromium based browser & I didn't care for it at that time for the same exact reason...PLEASE don't think I'm trying to be rude in any way.
Thanks,
David
