KeepassDX on Android
-
I am looking for a Keepass app that will work with Vivaldi on Android. I tried KeepassDX, activated the Magickeyboard settings, double checked to be sure that was the correct keyboard being used, made sure the autofill settings were correct, but when I go to a website with login information and click in a field the KeepassDX does not come up to auto fill the field. OMG this is SO much like the issues I had with Vivaldi and StickyPassword. Does anyone know an Android app for Keypass databases that DOES work with Vivaldi? Or how to get KeepassDX working with Vivaldi?

Hi,
You have to use the App's Keyboard:This is Keepass2Android

I have done some Limited Testing with KeePassDroid and it does work but not as expected!?
I suspect I may have done something wrong in my tests and corrupted my database. Also I am also using a Kindle Fire tablet not a pure Android device.[EDIT] I have restored my database and it works somewhat properly now. Cannot edit db for some reason.
It is a wee bit awkward to use but on the Kindle there is little choice if you want a KeePass database.Hope this Helps

Much like the other password managers, KeePassDX too is in need of Vivaldi providing support for the Android Autofill API.
(feel free to search this forum for "Bitwarden", "Enpass", "Lastpass", "KeepassDX" etc.) -
The maker of KeePassDX thinks it's not worth his while to implement an alternative autofill solution along the Accessibility Service route (like other password managers have done). I agree with him that things should just work with the Android Autofill API.
So, the magic keyboard is the only (quirky) solution here. -
Bitwarden recently overhauled its autofill support, which now works with Vivaldi using the Accessibility Service.
