[RSS] Podcast audio player invisible (VB-74579)
There's a podcast player...?!
-
Open new tab next to active has not been solved yet.

There sure is
If the feed contains an audio file in an<enclosure>
tag it can now be played back. Also on a positive note - there seems to be a noticeable lack of dead birds in this build. Maybe they've been pining for the fjords?
-
Is sync eventually planned to extend to mail accounts we have added, feeds we have subscribed to, etc.?
-
I reported the regressions I mentioned earlier in the hope they are fixed before Stable.
Possible to close the Speed Dial when it's the only tab open (VB-74752)
When using the Next Panel hotkey (Alt+F7) with Mail/Calendar disabled, it will show the Calendar and then a blank panel after Window (VB-74753)
Keyboard focus is lost and no longer on URL Bar when Vivaldi starts up (VB-74754)
Probably already been reported but what's the damage right?
-
Closing a tab with mouse (right-click + Close Tab) doesn't work : VB-74755
(Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+W, click on close icon (x) and File-Close Tab work perfectly)
-
@Ornorm Confirmed on macOS.
MacBook Pro Early 2015 | macOS 10.12.6 Sierra | Vivaldi 3.5.2115.31
-
Another regression:
(VB-74756) Keyboard input focus is on URL bar after using the tab cyclerThese are the ones that get me the most. I'm so dependent on a properly working address bar and keyboard focus that these issues are extremely chafing.
I do everything with the address bar, and it just seems it's been in constant state of flux over these last versions...

The good news is that Chromium 88 isn't due until Jan 19.
Considering the late start on and Big Bang nature of 3.5, along with the upcoming holidays, I'm going to make a modest suggestion:
3.6 should be a small release. A really small release. Not a single new feature. Mop-up and Chromium only.

I wanted to test Vivaldi Mail Technical Preview with my e-mail account. However, there is currently no way to add it to Vivaldi because Google's OAuth Consent Screen issue.
Couldn't you just let us connect directly to Google's IMAP/SMTP servers using good old username and password as an advanced/manual option?
-
@petersaints A fix along those lines is being considered as an option. At the time time, they are trying to get Google off their asses (after nine months of waiting) to permit Vivaldi mail to have access to more than 100 GMail accounts at a time.
-
@petersaints The option for that is under work but to use plain IMAP users still may have to disable oauth access in google privacy settings.
-
I'm finding that with this series of snapshots, focus is being stolen by the web panels: e.g., open up a web panel, leave it open but click on a page, begin typing and discover that the input is actually being directed to the web panel.
-
Something strange happened to me without obvious reasons. I could not close any tab with the mouse gesture, the keyboard shortcut or even by clicking on the tab close button. I closed Vivaldi, re-opened it and the problem was gone. The same thing happened a couple of times. Has anybody experienced that?
-
@Gwen-Dragon I cannot get them to open at all. Navigation is enabled and works fine, but Enter does nothing.
-
@Pesala Only
Enter
works fine when nothing is focused. This has been around for quite some time, but I'm not sure if it's reported.
