Solved Mail Panel Not Appearing
-
Very interested in the feed/reader/calendar features. Installed the latest snapshot, went to /experiments and checked the box to look into the new feature, restarted the browser. There's no button on the left panel to bring up any of the new features. There's a Mail Panel option in the View dropdown menu, but nothing happens when I select it.

Hi,
Welcome to Vivaldi's Forums!Try to access to
Vivaldi://Mail
if still does not appear the Mail tab and after restart V, the Panel, follow the Mail Fix | Send steps.--
"Off Topic Tip"
Follow the Signature's Backup | Reset link.
Take the opportunity to start a Backup plan and even create a Template Profile.

I appreciate the tips here, but, none of them have worked so far. "Turn Mail Client Off" is unchecked. Turned off the "calendar, mail, feeds" in experiments, restarted, rechecked them, restarted again, nothing. Removed the email account in mail settings, restarted, put it back in, restarted again, nothing.
Maybe I should just wait for the stable version.

@Gwen-Dragon That's the main issue: when I hit Ctrl+Shift+M, nothing happens. There is no mail button on the panel. But I DID notice that there's a mail button on the status bar that provides email information. However, it doesn't provide easy access to all emails like I'd imagine a mail panel would do.

Just found it. You're the best.

I had to right click in the panel bar to see the menu that showed the Mail panel unchecked.

The right clicking on the panel and selecting mail did the trick for me on linux too. that definetely should be added to the blog post as an update https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldi-mail-technical-preview/

I woke up this morning and found the Mail Panel missing. None of the tricks suggested above seems to work. I'm on 5.4.2753.51, macOS 12.6.
