Restore previous session after a crash
-
Hello!
I have had this problem innumerable times now: for one reason or another, if Vivaldi crashes, the session goes down with it.
I understand there is a built-in option to restore the last session at startup, but after a crash, it just doesn't work. The only workaround is manually saving your session every now and then so you can have something to work with if the session isn't automatically restored.
Please include the option to restore the last session after a crash like Chrome and Firefox. It would save us all a lot of trouble.
Thanks,

Check the trash/closed tabs list after a crash. Your tabs might be there on the first startup after the crash.
Though, they should be restored (assuming "Startup with" is set to "Last session", of course). I can't remember the last time Vivaldi crashed for me and I lost my tabs.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that but after a crash, there's nothing under the trash can icon either.
Also, I should have worded myself a little more clearly so as not to give the impression that Vivaldi is unstable or anything, I wouldn't be using it if it were so. It's just that sometimes you have too many tabs open and your OS freezes for one reason or another so you shut it down forcibly by pressing the power button, but later you find on boot your Vivaldi session is gone for good.

Ah, I see. Yeah, that might be a different issue compared to a normal Vivaldi crash.
