Vivaldi introduces a full-page Notes Manager and configurable menus to its browser for computers

@helix5837532 Actually firefox does block it properly via about:config.
Can't be done in a chromium browser though. -
@potmeklecbohdan Thanks for bringing attention to this. I have reopened your issue internally.

@helix5837532 The anti-spam measures for this forum prevent you from making frequent posts until your reputation increase to 2 or more. I have given you a few votes as you are obviously not a spammer.
Nothing to do with the WebRTC topic. The bug has been fixed according to the changelog for Vivaldi 3.1.

Argh, last, me here with the mobile now

@pesala: Sadly even now I'm getting the following error:
"ERROR
Post content was flagged as spam by Akismet.com"The issue is most likely the email address you are using. I asked internally and there's nothing that can be done manually to prevent akismet from flagging you but a few upvotes should help the algorithm to stop triggering.

Rather have an RSS feed sidebar, Vivaldi has nothing for that while Firefox does... [like Sage-like] ..doesn't work on chrome.
modedit removed promo link, added text.
-
Also still can't open up multiple bookmarks using [mmb] in a menu and not have it close after clicking one bookmark.
Again this was addon in Firefox called Stay Open Menu.. that mozillidiots actually did add support into Firefox eventually after breaking the API addon functionality with Quantum Firefox..
Again not supported in chrome and Vivaldi still haven't added support for it on there codebase side for such a small but useful feature.. going on 2year request ...is it really that hard to keep a menu open if [mmb] is used to click on a bookmark link? it allows the user to open multiple bookmarks in a menu instead of having to reopen it again.
modedit removed inrelevant information of FF addons

Add support for sidebar notes to sync with https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/notes ....then it will be useful.

make graphically modern design for browser.
What does even mean for you "modern design" other than a box with a cursor to write in it?
-
@Koolio Try Ctrl+Click.
-
Looks like the bug that gives extra blank space to drop downs is still there. I see it on the sync tabs, and closed tabs drop down. This profile was fresh as of 2 days ago.

Hope bird is not the word -
I use a custom home page, is there any other way to access the full page notes?
-
@MsAngelD Go to
vivaldi://notes
or click "Open in Note Editor" on a note.I admit, it could've been a bit more intuitive. At first I was looking at Menu > View and was surprised to not find it there. I had to go to the actual help page to find a way to access this new feature.
And I thought I know how to use a web browser -

You surely do, but… are you sure this is a web browser?
-
@msangeld: Yes, just open notes in the sidebar double-click on the note you want to open and then click on the "Enter Full View" icon to the left.
-
Good job, but try to focus on software development, not politics.
-
@Koolio Firefox doesn't have it natively, it's an addon. There are dozens of RSS feeder addons in Chrome's webstore.
-
@Koolio Native Notes are already synced so what's that post meant to be? An advertisement of some sort?
