Side note: The polar stratospheric clouds (a.k.a Mother of Pearl Clouds) featured in the blog post were in the skies of Oslo yesterday. The Photo was taken by our very own @ahojo
-
The Visit Oslo Twitter or Instagram accounts posted a few more examples, if you are interested.
You can also search for the hastag #PolarStratosphericClouds on Twitter or Instagram.
P.S. If the images make you think of Edvard Munch's The Scream, then you are not the only one:

I was also lucky enough to catch sight of them on my cycle home from work.

Yay, first Snappy Snappy Snap of 2020!
Thanks for the long fix-list. And for no CSS mod breakage (so far at least)
-
I am using the Outlook Web service (outlook.office365.com) in a pinned tab.
Starting from the previous snapshot, the performance is terrible. Folders and emails take a long time to load (sometimes forever). It also seems to slow down even more over time.
I also tested in Chrome, and everything runs fine.Any suggestion?

With this update a search bar appeared and I cannot hide it again (right click to customise is not possible).
This only happened on one of my profiles.// Could be resolved by editing the settings.

@Gwen-Dragon These two settings:
I have cleared them but default F6/Shift-F6.
-
@Gwen-Dragon check Ctrl+F12 >> Keyboard → Window
It's fine on Debian 10.2 -
@jumpsq See if that helps:
Ctrl+F12 >> Search
-
Please, fix VB-59501.
-
On Youtube, changing volume (with any method) now pauses the video.
-
@mosfet07 same problem for TwitchTV
-
@gwen-dragon: Yes but this is a snapshot and as you know these things are work in progress until final. In addition espen already logged an issue before this snapshot ever went out to do something with making the focus more visible, which you will find in the bug tracker.

Unfortunately I see a serious (very serious to me) regression. The popups are no longer "small windows" like they were in the previous versions, with the toolbar present. Instead they are simple rectangles and it's impossible to automatically use the (extension) password manager to log-in in any site. Also, there are all kinds of "control" problems, arising by the fact that the pop-ups are like rectangle "dummies" with no tools. Naturally I opted to open pop-ups as tabs but it's not the right solution. Please correct this in the next version!
-
@helsten2: Try holding shift and then reload the page (see if it is a cache issue)
-
@chas4: Thanks. Does not make any difference, though.

@gwen-dragon: I'm not talking about any extension but about the browser behavior related to the pop-ups. Try to log-in to - for example - disqus or facebook and see what happens. Vivaldi is opening a pop-up which has no toolbar (as opposed to what was happening with the previous version). How do you log-in with an external (and NOT Vivaldi's own) password manager, for example roboform? The button is in the main toolbar and not in the pop-up toolbar (which does not exist). You have to use copy and paste. You cannot use any other extension to control the pop-up, because there is no toolbar. This is the opposite of what was the case with the previous version. This kind of pop-up behavior is standard for Google Chrome but not with Opera and not with Vivaldi 2.10 RC 3. Anyway, my OS in Windows 10 home and - I'm repeating - my remark has nothing to do with any extension.

Will this year focus be on Panels Features?
