Vertical offset for touches (clicks)
-
Hi,
on my Samsung tablet S2 (10") there is a vertical offset when I touch a button. I must touch above the real object. Happens even here in this forum and even with the login button.Dieter

Same here on my Pixel C tablet (10 inch too)

Hi, report this, please.
https://help.vivaldi.com/article/reporting-a-bug-in-vivaldi/
Best is to report from tablet, all information about tablet version, Android version and so forth will automatic send to the report template.
The developer work on better tablet implementation.Cheers, mib

Hi,
submitted: VB-57361 -
Still in todays beta 1624.277. ️

It is actually an old bug that I reported months ago. if the tab bar is visible and you have previously scrolled the page, then the page is rendered offset by the width of the tab bar. As such it occurs only on tablets (mine is a Lenovo), and the workaround is to scroll until the tab bar disappears.
I don't have my bug number handy, but there's a recent thread with a title about Vivaldi not working on tablets that I posted it in not long ago.

I can confirm the same problem with clicking somewhere above any link, both on my tablet (a Vodafone tablet, I don't know the type) and on my phone (Samsung A5/2017). I must guess where I click, usually one centimetre above the button or link I need to activate. Hard to use Vivaldi because of this. Thanks for looking into this issue!

A fix for this bug has now been released in the latest Android Snapshot.
