[Regression] Zoom widget in status bar lags when zooming with mouse wheel: further fix (VB-56359)
Ctrl-wheel works now as expected.
-
@knoelli I can confirm aswell
-
@olli Hey! I am still here doing fantastic jobs. Thank you

@knoelli said in Default browser check – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1657.8:
However I just encountered a regression in the history of the address bar (when clicking the small down-arrow at the far right of the address bar): in this build it's impossible to delete previous entries by clicking on the 'x'. This used to work up to the previous snapshot...
I guess I'm the only one who can't confirm this. Items which appear in the "Typed" section in the drop-down in the address bar do delete by clicking the 'X' on Win10 with this build. Are we talking about the same thing? If so, there must be a variable.
-
No, you are not. I can confirm.
-
@lamarca Then what is the difference between the two?
Update: Oh, I see what he's doing now: I was in the dropdown area but in a different way.
-
No typed URL can not be deleted. It's "greyed out". According to a dev (long time ago) that part of the UI might be being used for something they are testing .
for something they are testing.Edited: grammar

@rseiler: When starting to type in the address bar, a dropdown with "Typed" items followed by "Bookmarks" items is shown. From this list I can delete items with the "x" at the far right side of the list. What I was referring to is the dropdown list that is shown when clicking on the little down-arrow to the right of the address bar (without typing anything), that list is causing the regression I encountered.

@knoelli hello there, please read the reply before yours. thx
-
@pathduck: You might be right. I think according to the standard spaces in the url (path) itself have to be encoded as %20. Spaces in query parameters should be encoded as +.

Has anyone already submitted an error report on the following problem :
If you press F5 in the console, it is not the page that reloads, but the browser interface itself? -
@Gwen-Dragon Yes thank you!
-
Some videos on YouTube seem to be causing a freeze (first the video becomes choppy, then stops completely with the sound still playing, then eventually the whole browser has to be force closed) - e.g. this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAXG-S3OfgE
Seems fine in 2.7 final.
-
@killchain I watched that entire video at 720p, opened the stats for nerds around the end of it, and it got just 1 frame dropped.
I have Hardware acceleration enabled. Win7 32bit, nVidia GT710 gfx card. -
@killchain I also have playback issues with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAXG-S3OfgE on macOS. I filed VB-55187 a few months ago for broken H.264/AVC playback on several sites. (Mac-specific bug that only affects some Macs.)
-
@knoelli: Yep. Confirmed here, too. Only found out after a session where I did a lot of copy & pasted URLs and now my drop down list is littered with them.
-
@gwen-dragon: Done. Issue submitted as VB-57032.
-
Might be a false positive. I'm still trying to consistently reproduce it and figure out whether it's the video and its codecs or something completely different.
-
@ruario
When the next ARM builds come in, is it possible to upgrade from the browser? -
Bug VB-52446 (page crash, dead bird) is still present, It would be nice that it got fixed, so Vivaldi would be usable again in the Frisian Language.
