Vivaldi 2.7: Bring more productivity to your day

@saudiqbal I would, but I prefer the timer to be shown in the status bar, therefore I upvoted that (your) particular post concerning it.

@saudiqbal One more vote.

Tab mute is much appreciated indeed.
I might have had a rather odd bug/quirk with it though - YouTube volume went absolutely nuts on me a couple of days ago; TV started playing videos with no sound, then on the phone I could move the volume but it would just jump back to zero, meanwhile (after breaking phone/TV connection) I could play sound again on the TV, but when I looked in Vivaldi it was again no sound. It took me about five minutes to discover that the tab (the only one which was open) was muted... with no mute mark on the tab bar.
Don't know if all that craziness was something to do with YouTube, Vivaldi's tab-muting or a mixture of both... It does seem like YouTube was linking all these three instances of my logged-in user profile (TV, phone, Vivaldi) while this was going on.

Does enabling flash plugin mean that I can delete the flash program on my pc?
-
@Domstert4 Probably not. The flash plugin is using the program on your PC.

[macOS] Services context menu not working in webview (VB-29096)
Finally! Thanks!

Good job but I'll wait until Vivaldi be battery friend for mac.

And I'm still waiting for a fix with the special characters used in the search bar. A small but very annoying detail that vivaldi somehow misses as much as 3/4 of the stuff.
-
Still buggy in the search field for using keyboard arrow keys up an down to select autocomplete options and go to results page of each search engine. The keybard arrow keys up and down don't work like Vivaldi 2.1 and 2.2 versions... Vivald 2.1, Vivaldi 2.2, Opera, Maxthon and Firefox allow to select and go auto complete options using tab or up/down keyboard arrow keys. This is the best and easyest way to interact with the seach field in my opinion. Thanks,

Considering 'Mute tab' functionality, I wish we could mute specific domain.
Thank you, Vivaldi team! -
@Maksa You can already, using site settings (click on the padlock on the left of the address bar, site settings, and select sound->mute)

This version made ctrl+f freeze occur even more often than before
-
@ian-coog: Cool, didn't know that one! Thanks

Do you mean before it wasn't fixed in one of the final 2.7 snapshots or before that? It'll be interesting to see what becomes of it in the getting-to-be-overdue 2.7 maintenance release.
-
@potmeklecbohdan I'm interested in knowing more about the fact that it couldn't be fixed. Is it that it proved impossible to fix, or is it simply that the bug did not make it into the list of bugs fixed?
-
@VoodooPriest I don't think it's impossible, but the way hasn't been found yet… But I'm not a Vivaldi dev.
