Find in page freeze fix – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1628.26

Awesome! Hope you've nailed that
bastardbug good this time aroundEDIT: Oops, getting random dead birds when searching now instead of hangs. Investigating... might've been a fluke, it happened on my Steam wishlist page and other Steam pages. After reloading unable to reproduce.

Thank you for fixing VB-55475 - Freeze in Find in Page, but i have another one that would be nice to fix before the stable version, VB-56224 - Pressing Enter when the cursor is in the Address field of the Bookmark does not happen anything

@ruario
when might version 2.7 final be released?
-
I haven't seen it mentioned here and it hasn't been reproducible for me, but the previous build spontaneously (instantaneously) closed several times this week. Let's see if that still happens...

Hiya!
It might only be me but this snapshot fixed my issues with Amazon Prime Video (which wasn't playing for the last couple of snapshots) on a Win7 PC. Now they do, so I assume the Widevine update can be held responsible for that...
Cheers & have a good weekend! -
@frommhold: The Widevine change is very much Linux only

Glad to see the Find in Page bug has been fixed. The next version of Vivaldi is shaping up to be a really good release.
One minor issue I've noticed is that this snapshot has a slight delay when closing the browser. Before the 1628.7 snapshot, Vivaldi would take a very long time to close (20-30 seconds). But since 1628.7, that issue went away and the browser has been closing immediately for me.
This snapshot I've noticed a small delay (like 2-5 seconds) after clicking the X to close the window. So, not nearly as bad as it was recently, but worse than the last few snapshots.
I'm not sure what causes it. If I open Vivaldi and open a few pages and close Vivaldi, then it shuts down immediately. It seems to happen when I have the browser open longer. So maybe it's related to the number of tabs opened and closed.
I'm on Linux Mint 19.2 x64

In case Ctrl+F causes Vivaldi to crash, please send the crashlog.

That's a crash. Please, file a bug
Finally Linux users can generate the core dump and send to the Dev. @ruario would love to get it
