Bookmarking and restoring a tab stack?
-
I see that I can bookmark a tab stack BUT if I open the bookmark, I get separate tabs opening - not the tabs ready stacked.
Any way round this? -
Save the tab stack as session. When you restore the session the tabs should still be stacked.
-
Another workaround:
- Open the folder in a new window
- Save the session if you wish
- Select all and stack
- Move stack to original window
Post in the Feature Requests thread.

Could someone explain in details? I saved the stacks "Save the stack as session" but when I tried to open it, it was disabled so I cannot click the "open.'
And I want "save as a bookmark" for single tabs and stack tabs together, and when I open the folder, they appear same as before. But it doesn't seem to work.
Anybody can help me?I am being perplexed in vivaldi......

@ilp0000 You can bookmark a tab-stack — a new folder will be created. Bookmarks cannot store tab stack data, but sessions can, so open the bookmark folder in a new window, and save that window as a session.
- Right-click on a tab or tab stack and select Save Open Tabs as a session.
- From the File menu, select Open Saved Session
- Select the desired session, and click on Open

@Pesala said in Bookmarking and restoring a tab stack?:
cannot store tab stack
Thanks for yor reply. But as you see below, open and delete buttons are disabled so I cannot click. What should I do? And what's wrong?

[VB-55202] Tab stack stored to bookmarks doesn't open as stack on opening the stack folder

@Gwen-Dragon Thanks Gwen and other helpers. Now I got it how the session works - it seems to save all the tabs as they are, and realize them when opening.
So, it must be no way bookmark "the session," where I can easily open it without going into menu and opening it. Well, how can all be perfect? I will sill go with vivladi.
Go for it Vivaldi!
