New Tab Button Position Options
-
Please add the options shown in the screenshot for configuring the action of clicking the New Tab button.
(The "New Tab Position" refers to using CTRL+T or selecting File > New Tab, and the "Cloned Tab Position" is self-explanatory. These should be left unchanged.)

@dracho Take a look at New Tab Icon and Position to Follow Mouse Cursor
-
Similar setting should also be implemented for bookmarks opened in new tab.
-
I've found the solution using extension:
- Install "Tab Position Options" https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tab-position-options/fjccjnfkdkdmjohojoggodkigkjkkjhl
- In Vivaldi settings set:
New Tab Position = After Active Tab - In "Tab Position Options" set
New Tab = Right of current tab
and add string in Matching URLs:
vivaldi-webui
and set it always lastDONE
But this feature request is still very much needed for bookmarks. Bookmarks should always open as last tab, not in the middle of a group of existing tabs unrelated to bookmark. And native browser implementation would be much better.

Actually,
New Tab can be left at default in this case.
To open internal service pages like "Extensions" also as last tab, add additional row with string "extensions" = Always last
and similarly for other internal pages -
