Fraudulent email

Hello,
I just received a very funny, pathetic and miserable email.
Obviously, I know that's not true; being a jurist, at least he made me laugh.
Have Vivaldi's servers been hacked ?<[email protected]> from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mxi.vivaldi.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 070D03F4D9 for <[email protected]>; Sun, 2 Jun 2019 04:04:17 +0000 (UTC) No, score=4.552 tagged_above=-999 required=6.31 tests=[BAYES_20=-0.001, DKIM_SIGNED=0.1, HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS=0.249, HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_04=1.172, HTML_MESSAGE=0.001, INVALID_MSGID=0.568, LOCALPART_IN_SUBJECT=1.107, RCVD_IN_BL_SPAMCOP_NET=1.347, SPF_HELO_PASS=-0.001, SPF_PASS=-0.001, TVD_SPACE_RATIO=0.001, T_DKIM_INVALID=0.01] autolearn=no autolearn_force=no from Skypoints.cn (skypoints.cn [121.196.233.78]) by mxi.vivaldi.net (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D41CB3F4DB for <[email protected]>; Sun, 2 Jun 2019 04:04:08 +0000 (UTC) dkin signature : v=1; a=rsa-sha256; d=skypoints.cn; s=hmail; c=relaxed/relaxed; q=dns/txt; h=From:Subject:Date:Message-ID:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type:List-Id:List-Unsubscribe; bh=8vB+qvjRKd9KjPdnEcW6mXyM/QvWfpIjcz2EBYeI4eI=; b=k17lzImla0p0WQKEwaUQqMBFwNOkIpIfbfn7MuDfMPQRs4l3HWzJCxGVRA7TK6exs9mQW7pYlNTEoES/PgQp3bYI3cTlC+ymHgDs90nZWliDkp8fC4kNVrNTtyYT0wbIhdEBBlBTttqYauVQi1yZtRVTujAUioz771+btN76hxE= from [dsl-173-206-11-255.tor.primus.ca] (dsl-173-206-11-255.tor.primus.ca [173.206.11.255]) by Skypoints.cn with ESMTPA ; Sun, 2 Jun
Email is an image.
Read it for a laugh with me.
Thank you very much. -
@Alleluia Some things are just not worth sharing.
This belongs in Chat, if anywhere. There is nothing relevant here for Vivaldi Webmail.
I suspect that everyone gets these stupid spam mails all too often.

Hello,
@ Pesala :
There is always an interest in making it public, it is educational. This reassures people who are more vulnerable than you or me. If a person does a search, they will know. I am thinking especially of the teenagers who receive this, some of whom in Europe commit suicide.@Gwen-Dragon
The scammer gives a Bitcoin account, is it possible to prevent this virtual bank, or organization?Thank you very much.
-
In a few ibm's words: there is no protected environment, only controlled.
-
I hope no one is stupid enough to fall for this.
I checked at
https://blockexplorer.com/
and no one has so far, I hope they realize it's a scam. No, it is not possible to prevent, it is totally anonymous when you use Bitcoin.

Hello Alleluia
All goodness tells me refrain merit response, but ... temptation ...
How to get onto the list of colleauges, family members, contacts?
You said "...for a laugh..."
This can be very deflating. -
Good evening,
I don't think it's stupidity, but there are people more fragile than us.
It is a reality, in Europe, scammers ask to be paid by prepaid card. Teenagers do it because crooks threaten to warn their families, to make public on Youtube or Facebook.
There have been several teenage suicides due to this type of scam.If I understood correctly, you say I can report the scam on this site:
https://blockexplorer.com/
Sincerely.

This is the current standard "sextortion scam".
The same email is sent to all email services.
The target email address is added as the return address so it looks like it came from that account.
It looks like charlie @ skypoints. cn is one of the scammers addresses, so spam reports should be sent to www. skypoints .cn -
For the record, I mentioned I got one of these before you, though I did not post the details. For those of us with a background in security it is a joke, especially as the From address was not my "hacked account" that he claimed to send it from.
-
@Alleluia
No, that is a site to track the address transactions.Bitcoin is not regulated and no one controls it as you are thinking.
it is totally anonymous that is why they use it.
-
@Alleluia thanks for sharing all these information. This email has been around for many of us and Vivaldi's servers are in good shapes thank you for asking.
Unfortunately we do get a lot of spam and need your help to fight it. By reporting it via our contact form, we can block them pretty quickly.
So to everyone, if it happens again please contact us:
vivaldi.com/contact -
@sgunhouse Hi bud! I have also reported getting this email... It appears in my junk folder about twice a week, and occasionally in my inbox.
Unfortunately the usual methods of restricting this do not seem to work.
Sending an e-mail to "[email protected]" seems to be the most effective although I've never received an acknowledgement of the complaint. besides it takes too much time and effort.
With the advent of GDPR, if the site is in Europe a WhoIs is useless as almost all info is redacted. -
