(History of) Vivaldi Feature Requests

Не хватает структуры при поиске закладок в боковой панели и в окне закладок. В Opera 12 такая возможность была.
There is no structure by search of tabs in a side bar and in a window of tabs. In Opera 12 such opportunity was.
-
How about either a good music player in the panel, or a way to see what audio is from what tabs (but not an icon in the tabs, that takes up too much space)
One could login with their accounts (soundcloud, google play, itunes, etc) and get their online music, no tabs needed, less cpu usage
Even just something to control the audio coming from tabs, play/pause, volume, etc -
About grouping tabs…
Teach Vivaldi to group the tabs automatically by website or date when user hit a special button and ungroup them as user hit this button again. -
I miss the Opera 12 customisable bookmarks bar. I love having it on the right and with Images only style that way it is even thinner than the pannel in vivaldi. Plus extensions - need adblock and private tabs

Ditto on bookmark bar and private tabs. Could care less about adblock (tho a couple of the Chrome Store adblock apps work in Vivaldi).
-
Built-in would be much lighter on the cpu, though
-
Buttons on the main screen to switch tabs in a group, when you are in a tap group, which would be easier than clicking the tiny, thin minitabs
-
Also a "reload all" or "reload every" ________ button (replaced by url, root or whatever directory in)
Or a "reload whole group", for tab groups -
Downloaded Vivaldi a few days ago, and have been nothing but impressed so far. That said, there are a few features I have found myself missing:
Option to access history from the side panel/option to add items to the side panel.
Option to clear the list of closed tabs accessible from the trash bin icon.
Extension buttons.
Search suggestions.And that is really all that has leaped out at me so far. Thank you, Vivaldi team, for this excellent new browser.

I'm really excited for all the features Vivaldi has to offer! I tried our Vivaldi, and I'm really liking it. I used the original Opera in the past for years and sadly the 'new' Opera is kinda dumbed down. I'm planning on using Vivaldi after the official release comes out for it.
One feature which I think Vivaldi should have is the ability to save all open tabs. Pressing 'Save As' gets redundant and very time consuming for each tab that''s open. Sadly, there aren't any extensions to resolve this problem. Most of the archiving extensions in the Chrome extensions are either buggy or don't work at all . I was thinking there should be a similar mechanism like 'Bookmark All Tabs Open', but to save them all to create a local copies of the html pages. There aren't any current browsers that offer this feature. I hope that Vivaldi has this feature in the near future.

Few things i`m really missing to switch from Opera 12.17 to Vivaldi:
- import bookmarks from opera (it`ll be good to save directory structure too, but I think, tagged system will be even better);
- synchronization, some public remote server to keep at least bookmarks and speed dial up-to date;
- option for setting default document scale (i`m using 150%);
- option to turn off password manager;
Things i`ll be missing much from Opera:
- Ctrl + 'digit' opens up corresponding page from speed dial;
What i really do not need:
- pre-set bookmark directories (for instance, tagged system is very flexible and powerful, it allows to search/filter/select by set of tags and/or content);
And, Please, do not listen to guys wanting to turn it into swiss knife:
So features like- media player;
- IRC client;
- news reader;
- ass swiper…
Theres a bunch of applications for each purpose, so there
s no need to compete all of them.
Simply become best in one thing.
Few more notices:
New tab stacking system - it is just great! Simply awesome. So intuitive and compact; compared to old Opera stacking, which becomes an ugly mess when few stacks with 5-10 tabs were opened.
The only problem is that it`s hard to point stack with a tab: you really have to chase the stack with mouse pointer.
Maybe, virtual center zone of stack that should be pointed for stacking to happen should be enlarged?...
Maybe, there is some other solution... -
We really need some form of bookmark managing
Chrome Importing
Also the return of fit to with like in the old opera -
https://archive.org/index.php
Internet Archive allows backing up of any page
Why not have a special bookmark and archive, when you load the page (maybe only from the bookmark), you could get a little popup "You have an archived version" with "Archive" and "New" buttons
Also an ability to archive multiple versions and then chose from them -

An implementation of the Imagus extension would be wonderful: https://97e572bee9692acbd88571f49c074e24ffd9c03b.googledrive.com/host/0Bx8fnUCX4W2IUTNPT0s2eUFDQms/
OR

have you been able to install many extensions
I have only gotten a couple to work
"'tabs' is only allowed for packaged apps, but this is a extension." keeps popping up under these -

OR
yeah, that's one of the most favourite extensions I have ever used!
But I can't imagine how it could be even better and implementing the same (or worst) which is as an extension… I think that there are more important things. But this should be on the Vivaldi roadmap after "important" stuffs for sure!

Hello!
I've been using Vivaldi for about a week now and I'd like to make some critics:
- Can't click and drag tabs to open in a new window
- I have no idea if incognito mode is active or not, there is nothing to emphasize if you are incognito or not
- When you add bookmarks, there should be a way to add your open tabs as bookmarks when clicking on the "add bookmark" button on the speed dial page
- Add crtl+H to open your history
- This is one of the most important things to me: I want to open multiple tabs but stay on the same page, everytime i click on open in a new tab, it goes to that new open tab!
Thank you very much!

- Not implemented yet.
- Not implemented yet
- Click on any open tab and select "Bookmark all open pages."
- More customizable keybindings will be coming. Don't know if that's on the list.
- Not an option yet to set "always open in background." The original Opera behavior was to focus the new tab by default, which I actually like. Defaulting to background actually sometimes pisses me off. When the context menu is complete, there will be an "open in background tab" option just like in old Opera. In the meantime, middle-click on link or Ctrl+click on link opens a new tab in the background.

Hey,
i really like the Project… here some features which i think would be nice...- at the Speed-Dial Page an option to change the pictures of the Sites.
For example to set a picture of a letter for the Speed-Dial to my Mailaccount. - Maybe a function to disable the "+" in the Speed-Dail would be nice.
- At the moment i can´t use Whatsapp Web. It would be really nice if this would work in the future.
And one question... will it be possible to use Opera or Chrome Extensions?
Thanks - at the Speed-Dial Page an option to change the pictures of the Sites.
