Crash fixes – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1504.6

@aronand: Looks like ctrl + insert is an old-timey shortcut used for copy / paste.
-
Is still present the bug that going in the options of the extensions and clicking on "Inspect" Vivaldi crashes, this is serious enough for a stable.
Holding down Ctrl and clicking the Reload button opens a new tab instead of reloading the page by clearing the cache. -
I just updated to the latest version and I can see that you can't move the extensions in different places anymore. I mean the icons in the top right corner of the browser. Is this a bug or you've removed the option?
-
@Aronand yeah probably some system-wide shortcuts like ctrl-ins, shift-ins, ctrl-a etc are better be never remapped.
-
@meymigrou since some versions you have to use shift+mouse drag for extensions and toolbar elements, to avoid moving them unintentionally.
-
@ian-coog: The graphics issues might be graphic card related - I don't see them, but it is a known issue that some Intel and NVidia chipsets / CPUs / APUs have problems like that. Sadly there is not much that Vivaldi can do against that, because they "borrow" the drivers from the OS, so they are not under their control ...

Is it just me or has there been trouble seeking most videos with the left/right arrow keys in the past 5-6 snapshots. I keep waiting for it to get fixed and it never does. Anyone?
-
First posted about here and was confirmed by me
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/36126/new-tab-selection-options-vivaldi-browser-snapshot-1503-4/64To make it easier to see what the issue is go to CCleaner builds page and middle click on one of the download buttons (Slim, portable etc)
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
New page opens but nothing happens. Applies to any download on any site you middle-click on. This is new behaviour. -
In previous builds, the downloads panel would make missing downloads (i.e. ones that had been deleted) semi-transparent in the panel. This no longer seems to be the case. I have two questions:
- Is anyone else seeing this?
- Was this change intentional?
-
@gwen-dragon:
Almost any site with video except for youtube.

same here. also the downloadorder is changed
Win7x64 Vx64 -
Minor point, but it would be nice to get "update thumbnail" on speed dials working again. It hasn't been functional on my Manjaro/KDE install for several weeks.
-
@gwen-dragon: any other video website. except for youtube.
it only started a month ago or so.
-
@gwen-dragon: here is another one:
https://openload.co/f/kUEfGclsU9oIt worked before.
-
When I set this flag disabled it is no longer honored.
chrome://flags/#enable-mark-http-asIt may be due to inheritance from the chromium base, but I need this flag to work, forever.

"Tell DM we are Chrome to avoid a sporadic User Agent block (VB-51363)"
Wow, Vivaldi has the ability to take the initiative itself and "tell" sites this kind of thing?!

Confirmed now UA spoofing working on dailymotion, still some of the videos that once complained about not being able to play them, show some decoding artifacts.
This one shows green bars

this one's image is all skewed

This, at least on my work pc, that has Intel on board graphics and had to force chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blacklist enabled to even make them play. Both links work 100% on my home PC with a nvidia card, so it's just a problem with a card-less pc.

that link plays fine on my PC. Do you have Use Hardware Acceleration enabled in settings? maybe check vivaldi://gpu

The video plays just fine.
The arrow keys no longer work to navigate back and forth through the video.
