Yet another netflix playback issue
-
I know I'm not the only one with issue on this browser using netflix, since I searched the forum, but I've not yet found a solution. So every time I try to play netflix, I get an error either M7399-1260 or M7361-1253. I cleared cookies, and the video started playing, but when I tried to move the slider forward, it crashed an gave the error again. cleared cookies again, it played 1 second of the video, then crashed again, tried again, same result.

I'm having the same issue. It plays in Chrome just fine. Have you managed to find a fix @sahands?

@Gwen-Dragon I got the same issue.
I could not play both "Big Buck Bunny" video on https://demo.castlabs.com. -
@Gwen-Dragon Do you mean "Widevine Content Decryption Module"? I can't find anything else related to "DRM decoder"
I tried to click the update button on "Widevine Content Decryption Module", it said "Component not updated".Current version of Widevine Content Decryption Module: 4.10.1196.0
My windows version: Windows 10 Education (ver 1803)Netflix video could be played on Chrome and Firefox, but not on Vivaldi.

It's most surely the usual lack of media codecs in win10. Vivaldi should really warn win10 users that they MAY need to install the codecs for video playback

@Gwen-Dragon It would be great indeed.

I had problem with my antivirus program giving me those errors when it was enabled.
I have Bitdefender installed. -
@Gwen-Dragon Finally turns out that is related to Bitdefender. After turning it off, the Netflix video can be played on Vivaldi smoothly. Thanks for your help.
