Do not worry do not despair, there is a good team for bug hunting.
-
How can I hide profile icon from address bar? I don't use profiles.
-
@Gregor You can't.
-
@Gregor use a simple CSS mod suggested here

Not working.
-
@lamarca the css mod is working perfectly for me
-
@iAN-CooG I can live with it.
-
@lamarca good for you, but is is not enough to declare it "Not working" for everyone.
-
In Linux I use this /opt/vivaldi/vivaldi and attribute --user-data-dir=/home/xxx/vivaldi_xxx_profile/ "/opt/vivaldi/vivaldi --user-data-dir=/home/xxx/vivaldi_xxx_profile/"

Unfortunately, it's not good for me.
-
How can one disable this "user profile" feature?
I don't need it and I don't want in my menu bar.
"vivaldi://experiments/" only works until one restarts the browser.
Thanks in advance.

Disabling fails, it is a known issue.
Indeed. Disabling is not saved even after the restart.

This CSS modification in your own custom.css helps:
It really made it.

@mossman No, this button will stay until mardi gras ends in the US or after Fastnacht or Fasching? II do not know.
I know there is some Mozart conspiracy going on in Oslo, fighting against poor Vivaldi, and we have to wear some shielded hats to get rid of button. -

It would probably make more sense to place the icon on the status bar.
Yes, i would like to see it near the paneel and sync icons. It's ok in the address bar to test it for the next 2-3 snapshots, but should change after that. It's nice to have and could be helpful, but i also don't think it is a feature that needs to be such present for everyone
