@Serket Thanks. It's not that consistent, I clicked a notification just now and it opened correctly. Have no idea what exactly causes it.
-
Not able to check for update behind proxy.
Edit: Nevermind it :D, my corporate software was blocking it. -
@Steffie Vivaldi freezes for a few seconds. Scrolling stops working, input fields stop working. If you switch to another virtual screen then back to Vivaldi (under Linux) the freeze ends. f you do not do that, then it stops for about 5 seconds. Others have reported this before.
-
VB-46818 The issue of popup menus stopping working is still not fixed. This includes trying to reopen closed tabs.
-
Having been using the "confirm close" for a while now, I feel like it needs a little bit of extra "intelligence".
For example, if I've just closed the last tab in a window, and I then close the window itself, maybe it shouldn't prompt me about it.
-
@bib_vivaldi Possibly you meant to post that to someone else? Otherwise I can't fathom what your description has to do with my query re:
[Settings] Add option to keep last selected search engine
-
Someone tested the internal PDF viewer?
I see a dead bird (single tab) when I try to open in the previewer.Guess is an IDM bug. -
Window still not maximized after minimizing, going back to 2.3.1400.4.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Seems to be a bug in IDM extension - which is actually known to have some issues in newer chromiums.
Unchecked "browser intergration" and now pdf viewer is working. -
@kknight: I'm seeing something similar.
-
Still unable to set UI zoom to sane levels without randomly cropping extension's menus.
-
@lars-l This had stopped being a broad problem for me a very long time ago, but still has persisted as a narrow problem for several months for me for only a single extension; uMatrix. Routinely uM would become severely compromised re its UI visibility whenever i'd use my preferred V UI zoom of less than 100%. For the past several weeks i abandoned the fight & simply used 100%, albeit through gritted teeth given i prefer a smaller UI. I've never understood if the "blame" was V's or uM's.

One more bug, for Imgur:
- trying to drag and drop an image from the desktop doesn't work at all. In Edge, it works properly.
-
@t0yz Here works (w10 x64).
Tried with extensions off or in private window? (ctrl+shift+N) -
@Hadden89 It works now for some reason, after I force updated my extensions. Maybe it was a bug with uBlock/HTTPS Everywhere, as those are basically the only things that interfere with browsing that I use.
-
chrome://discards
close the browser o.o
Not a big issue, but is strange. -

Not a big issue, but is strange.well, whatever crashes Vivaldi it's actually a big issue in my book
a reports\*.dmp gets created so it's really a crash. -
In the start page settings can you add "lock tiles" to stabilize the folders & files in speed dial?

One more (potential) bug:
- if in Standalone install mode, the Native notifications don't seem to work anymore, at least not for Youtube. I am getting normal Chrome notifications instead of Action Center notifications (RS5/1809), even after manually enabling the Native Notifications flag together with New style notification flag. It used to work when Vivaldi was normally installed on C:
Edit: alright, the Vivaldi app is no longer in the Notification Senders in System>Notifications&Actions. Now, how do I add the standalone app/executable to that list...
