Option to disable the new 'Search Box on Speed Dial'

With the new Vivaldi 2.2 update, a new 'feature' is [New] Search box on Speed Dial (VB-23505). This search box is highly redundant with the address bar on the top for me..

My setup makes that when I open a new tab, the address bar is selected (the option Focus Page Content on New Tab is disabled), so I can search something right away. And if I don't want to search something, before the 2.2 update, I was able to use the Escape key to focus the page content (in this case, the speed dial tiles), then press enter to open the first speed dial tile..

Now with the search box on speed dial, when I open a new tab and press the Escape key to focus the page content, the new Search Box is selected, and I can't un-focus it

Also, I don't understand why I'd want a Search Box on new tab, when the address bar can search too... Anyone can explain the reasoning?

Can you add an option to disable the search box? Thank you!

ooooh thank you, sorry for the burden, I was looking for the option in Start Page..
I'll double check with a search next time, thanks @Steffie @Pesala
