Numbered menu accelerators – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1373.4
-
Still not working after a system restart. Not on Portrait nor on Landscape monitors; not on maximised windows, nor on restored windows.
On a side-note Vivaldi launch after system restart is painfully slow, i.e. 1-2 minutes. A warm restart is only 5 seconds. (Type: vivaldi://restart in the URL field and press Enter).
Solved: Settings, Panels, "Make Tab Stack with mouse drag" was disabled. This also affects stacking on the tab bar. One setting controls dragging in both places.
-
Can you elaborate please?
-
is it a known bug, that after CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and ENTER the dialog isn't confirmed? the dropdown menu opens which wasn't the case in older snapshots
Vx64 Win7x64 -
Have a lot of problems to scroll down a web page with the down key. It's not possible to scroll down until the page content is activated with a mouse click.
If a pdf is opened in the browser, the keys didn't work also if the page content is activated with the mouse. Maybe a focus problem.
As I work many times on the notebook its not useful to activate the page every time over the touchpad.
The error occurs since a lot of Snapshots, didn't know when it's begun.mf
Environment: Windows 10 (x64), Vivaldi x64, 2.2.1373.4
-
@derday For me it's normal for more versions.

Have you tried setting Tools/Settings/Tabs - Tab Handling - Focus Page Content on New Tab ?
-
@derday: Confirmed here on win 10. Submit a bug report.

This snapshot broke Gmail for me, can't login anymore. All I get is "mail.google.com redirected you too many times." Amazing how a simple snapshot can break something fundamental. i guess it's time to switch to stable now.
-
@brennus Enable 3rd party cookies. For me it stopped working with this SS, too, but others have this issue longer time.
-
@potmeklecbohdan confirmed
I use an email-client and hangouts, so that I have no idea, when the problem occured the first time.
-
@tbgbe thanks for the hint. It's not about new tabs. It's after Vivaldi was started.
Switch to another tab and try to scroll down or maybe up, without to set the focus.
Here some pages where down and up keys didn't work:

Yes, when you open the link, then it works.
But: Let the tabs open, close and start Vivaldi again. Now, try to scroll with down or up keys. It doesn't work.mf

@ercankocak English only, please.

Downloads are crashing browser with exe keep file... and the Downloads panel just leaves the download at 99%
-
@gwen-dragon: nvm pretty sure it was chrono download manager doing it now... just removed it and downloads aren't hanging at 99%

I don't see the youtube tab icon when a youtube video is playing but only a speaker icon for quite some builds now, is it normal?
-
@npro It is normal for any tab that is playing sound to have the speaker icon.
-
@ayespy hmm you are right, I must have mixed it with the behaviour when pinning the audio/video tab. Wouldn't it be better though -for visibility reasons- if the icon would be shown as well instead of the same "dry" speaker icon? (Especially if you open more than one audio/video tab)
