Numbered menu accelerators – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1373.4
-
@ayespy: I got the conversations a couple of times, then I could not get them to show up, even with no extensions. Other browsers have no problems with this website.
-
In the last few Snapshots on macOS (10.14.1) the three finger swipe related to navigation does not seem to be working. Using other browsers (Safari, Chrome) this is recognized and properly moves me back one page in my history.
-
Hello, ehm today is Thursday, the day of Thor/Zeus, the day where vikings celebrate, so... where is our new toy?
-
Vivaldi is also not honoring the "back" mouse button on an external mouse across two different machines on 2.2.1373.4
-
Hello! in this snap i click and click and click on some "the most" embbed twitter videos and nothing happends.
Windows 7 64 bits. uBlock origin and instadownloader extension. have a nice day sexy developers from the best browser on earth.
-
@gh0stzk true and going fullscreen via the video button does not work most of the times.
-
Sync seems not functional for days. "Failed to commit data to server".
Is this common or just an issue for me?
Thanks.
EDIT: i logged out and relogged, and it seems working for now.
Also: in chrome:\settings\passwords, when I reveal a password and I am asked for password, I cannot use PIN (not given the option) unless I close/reopen the dialogue a few times.

@t0yz No problems here...
-
Looks like everyone at V is on vacation, no more updates.
-
@saudiqbal Maybe you didn't notice the update that happened 5 days ago. Not the same team, of course, but they are obviously not on vacation yet.
Going by the release history we might have expected a release today. It is way too soon to start fretting about updates being overdue.
-
@saudiqbal Everyone at Vivaldi is quite busy. We are getting a tester's internal build every day.
-
This year is almost over, M3 needs to come soon early next year.

...or you will... what?
-
@saudiqbal no it doesn't, please stop it, you're annoying.
-
@Ayespy Is it normal to release so many versions or is there some bug that is particularly difficult to fix?
-
@saudiqbal If Vivaldi's team were made up of 200 developers maybe a release would be possible by the beginning of 2019, but that's not the case. Be patient, when they think it's ready enough they'll release it in the snapshot branch.
I understand your impatience, i too have been waiting since 2015, and i am still using M2, but i prefer to have a fairly stable product than to anticipate the release and risk losing emails.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thanks, i didn't think they'd go out on a daily basis.
-
@Folgore101 That's normal. Internal testers get at least a build a day during the week as a rule, That way we get to test changes as they happen, and new bugs or regressions can be picked up and tracked down quickly.
-
@Ayespy Thank you. It's always interesting to know what's going on behind the scenes.

Have you found some cunning way to make each of your days 56 hrs long? I mean, apart from the intense rhythm of the V Dailies, & the V Forum Modding, there's presumably also trivial matters like family & work. It's just totally amazeballs.
