t's not about new tabs. It's after Vivaldi was started.
Switch to another tab and try to scroll down or maybe up, without to set the focus.Sorry, I don't understand. If I open any of those links (using open in new tab) scroll down with arrow keys works/
-
@lonm: Durum çubuğunda sürüm numarasını yazdırmak için ne yapıyorsun veya nasıl oluyor lütfen açıkla cevap bekliyorum.
Mod Edit: Translation added
Please explain how to show the version number in the status bar.

Yes, when you open the link, then it works.
But: Let the tabs open, close and start Vivaldi again. Now, try to scroll with down or up keys. It doesn't work.mf

@ercankocak English only, please.

Downloads are crashing browser with exe keep file... and the Downloads panel just leaves the download at 99%
-
@gwen-dragon: nvm pretty sure it was chrono download manager doing it now... just removed it and downloads aren't hanging at 99%

I don't see the youtube tab icon when a youtube video is playing but only a speaker icon for quite some builds now, is it normal?
-
@npro It is normal for any tab that is playing sound to have the speaker icon.
-
@ayespy hmm you are right, I must have mixed it with the behaviour when pinning the audio/video tab. Wouldn't it be better though -for visibility reasons- if the icon would be shown as well instead of the same "dry" speaker icon? (Especially if you open more than one audio/video tab)
-
@npro I suspect this is not done right now, for space considerations. Some people line up tabs on the bar until each tab is only half an icon wide. Then which icon would you show? Then, too, a primary purpose of the speaker icon is to mute the tab that's playing without having to search for it.
-
At last you fixed my request present from the beginning about the white box under favicons.
-
@koolio: was it really the download manager? I have the same problem and don´t use any download manager (clean win10 install too)
-
I lost all my tabs when upgrading to 2.2.1373.4 on Ubuntu. The last session is not saving when closing and reopening. Tried on two different computers, both with Ubuntu and both had the same problem.
-
@multiwebinc Lemme try this on Mint, and see if it's Linux in general, or something about your local environment.
-
@ayespy: Not true. It is actually done when the view is even MORE cramped. Try opening a whole bunch of tabs and then one with audio:

I filed a bug report about this several versions back, but nobody has worked on it yet.

Nope, certainly tis not a Linux-wide problem.
-
Ok, looks like there was a problem with the app not closing properly after the upgrade. I thought I had closed it, but some processes were left running in the background. Killing all vivaldi-bin processes worked and the tabs I had previously before the update were restored.
-
@multiwebinc OK. Same thing happened here on Mint. Please read the instruction page and file a bug report, and I will confirm it.

Well you've surprised me, i fully anticipated you coming back & advising both thumbs up for you, not down like OP [who now admitted to a user-error]. Mint is based on Ubuntu, so maybe there's a common-cause factor therein which is not present in / applicable to other distros, like Manjaro? Have other Debian / Ubuntu / Mint users posted a similar bad experience? Alternatively, have any non-Debian [& derivative] users posted about this?
-
@steffie My tabs didn't stay disappeared on normal restart - only update. So I figured there might be something going on there.
