Annotate Webpages and Show in Notes
-
Sometimes I want to write/draw things on web pages that I visit so that the next time I visit it, I can see the notes I made on the page. Maybe a highlight or drawing on the page and a show/hide annotations button at the bottom. And all these can show up in my notes panel.

@darkmatter Me too.
Neither of these does exactly what you asked, but i find them both very useful. I used the first one for years, but a few months ago replaced it with the second one.

@darkmatter If you select some text on a web page and use "Copy to Note," the address of the web page is stored with the note. The text and title of the note can be edited, but double-click on the note in the Notes Panel will open the web page.

If I understand correctly, that means that the note should have an optionaly graphical interface directly and automaticaly onto the webpage itself. Indeed, this is the meaning of notes, specialy those which are located like the word or area highlight.
1-Does this also means that note feature should get arrows, sublining, circling capability ?
2-Does a graphical icon from Vivaldi should be layered onto the webpage border, or into the address bar to remember that the browser knows notes linked to this page ? -
@dragon-sails2 it's seems indeed that the notes may have to keep an image of the page.
-
@seasonly That's exactly what I'm talking about.

@steffie The secod one works great although I prefer something like highlighting a section and adding a note on it.
-
@darkmatter Yes, i would too, but it's still pretty useful for me [i did forewarn you that...
Neither of these does exactly what you asked
]. I have atm 579 OurStickys in my V-SS, & a typical use for me is to copy a string of text from a site, paste it into a note affixed to that part of the page, & then append my own comments etc for context [when relevant]. When i return to that bm'd page weeks/months/years later with a need to follow that procedure again / refresh my memory of some tech settings etc, i can re-read my notes which are at exactly where i need them on the page. It's very productive for me.
