Hi, would you mind providing to us your %temp%\vivaldi_installer.log?

@gwen-dragon: How do I append the crash log? I cannot find an "add file" button in the bug report form.
-
@gwen-dragon: OK, I'll just do that!
-
@nutcracker It's not a universal problem, I use mouse gestures all the time and I only had problems in very early versions and I think in the earliest 1.15 build, and crashes only in the very old builds.
Hopefully the crash logs you sent can shed some light what is different in your setup that is causing those instabilities.

@ruario: Sorry for the delay. It was for me time for sleep.
Trying from beta but still without any luck...
BTW. DRM video working fine on Chrome.

Print still not working in SN 1360.4 on certain sites. I reported this already for SN 1332.4.
When I try to print certain pages (Example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010S9N6OO ) in the latest few snapshots, the Print Preview window opens but then it's stuck at the "Loading Preview" animation. I tried the following:
-
Opened the same website in Private Window with all Extensions disabled (no change)
-
Re-installed SN 1360.4 (no change)
-
Print works fine both in Chrome and Edge

The progress bar in the address bar seems to work now, but I've noticed that if I open up many links in new background tabs, when I open each of them they quickly show the progress bar despite having had time to load fully.

@ruario
thanks for all the work from the team!Two things prevent me using Vivaldi 100%:
- Android client (with sync).
- M3 (meanwhile I migrated from M2 to Evolution, but if M3 is like M2, I consider migrating to it)
Keep up the good work.

Somewhere between 2.1 final and the current snapshot, the HTML5 Test has gained a couple of points — up from 528 to 530. Acid3 still fails at 97 though. That's probably irrelevant, but it was a test invented by Old Opera to showcase its good support for web standards.
Opera 12.18 still passes the test fully.

[Tabs] Untiling tabs does not drop selection (VB-45471)
This is not fixed correctly. It works as expected when using keyboard shortcuts, but the behaviour when using the Status Bar icon is broken. Selecting any tiling layout other than untile also deselects a selection. Users may wish to change their mind, e.g. from Grid to Tile Horizontally, or they may wish to stack the selected tabs after tiling them.
-
Acid3, in particular, contains some controversial tests and no longer reflects the consensus of the Web standards it purports to test, especially when it comes to issues affecting mobile browsers.

@ruario Thanks. Is it time to develop Acid4 for Vivaldi, or is the HTML5 test adequate? Are there any recommended speed test benchmarks that you use or recommend?
-
@gwen-dragon Lots of adolescents also will use Vivaldi — it's not just for us. Reliable benchmarks can demonstrate that Vivaldi is at least as good as Chrome or Opera, or maybe better in some aspects.
These kind of questions keep on being asked, and not just by adolescents.

Hi, can you confirm if this is my only bug?
1 - Tile two tabs;
2 - Hover the mouse over a link, the link path does not appear at the bottom left near Sync;
3 - If you click with the left button above the link opens correctly in the tab;
4 - If you click with the middle button above the link nothing happens, even through "Open Link in New Tab", "Open Link in Background Tab", "Open Link in New Window" or "Open Link in Private Window" of the right-click context menu.I also tried with a clean profile and without extensions but i still find it, does it happen to others?
I open a VB?

Bug in Sync: If you delete the Sync Data in this Snapshot and try to resync Sync is broken. After pressing „Start new Synchronisation“ the little black Down-Arrow gets black and says: "Sync Files where downloaded successfully“ … and then - cut and out.
I reinstalled the previous Snapshot and (Re)syncing works fine again. Then updated to this Version. I had a conversation with the Vivaldi Support during this week, they know about it, but not that this Snapshot is the reason. Just wanted to tell this here, so everybody here also is informed about this Bug.
Edit: A Mail by me got out to the Support this morning (Sun., Nov. 11/ 2018).
