Apple updates – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2.0.1302.3
-
I still don't get native notifications for Youtube in my action center (windows 10 fully updated).
-
@t0yz: You can enable vivaldi://flags/#enable-native-notifications to make it work
-
@christoph142 I did, this was my first post on the issue for previous snapshot.
However I dug around a bit more and found that in the YT settings for notifications Push got turned off somehow (happened after the update from v.1.16 to 2.0). Turned them back on and now just waiting and see if it will work after somebody comments etc.
Maybe the change in engine puzzled Youtube. It still detects Vivaldi as Chrome basically when it comes to serving Push notifications.
Edit:
Seems to working now. It was YT itself then forgetting that Push was turned on for months when I updated to 2.0. -
What is about font rendering on Linux? 2.x builds have a bad regression with no anti-aliasing on (many?) (monotype?) fonts (RHEL 7.4). Is this known?

Thanks, I have installed the update and will use this version of Vivaldi until I meet the wall.
Not all is gone, you still need the "type" of file on Facebook, i looked at the source and it is not on the page so I cannot help in any other way than say that FB Downloader finds the video and states the resolutions and allows me to view them here.
The graphics is back - GUI is really neat. I tried mail, it works, but I will test more.
The sync is also neat, can we edit the synced setting?
Please make a separate bug tracker for 2.0.x + I don´t want to create more confusion, it is beautiful! -

So nice to have so many old bugs fixed thanks. Data clear worked also when exiting kill all processes worked I didn't have to use process explorer manually.

I've been running into some weirdness with closed tabs returning and before submitting a bug report want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding the behavior. I use the setting to startup with the last session and often after closing all tabs (but not quitting Vivaldi) and clicking a link in an external application to bring up a new window will result in tabs previously closed reopening in addition to the new one.
I've captured a screen recording the issue and it is attached below. The expected behavior in my mind is only the clicked link would appear, not the previously closed tabs.
Closed Tabs re-open -
@andreyl: This is not something we are aware of. Could you take screenshots of the same text with stable and snapshot and post them here.
-
@jeancremers It is already there, so vote for Indicate Not-found in Find in Page by Colour Change
-
This is a really liberating snapshot for mouse users - almost everything works fine!
-
Another case to the menu that opens when 'Switch Tabs by Scrolling' via RMB+Wheel used:
just switch the tab while the cursor is outside the page (over the address bar, tabs bar, bookmarks bar or left/right side bar) and the context menu will be opened after you release RMB.
Let me know if I have to send all three bugreports to get them fixed.
P.S.: my English isn't very good so I decided to discuss it first here to be able to rephrase or clarify the details if required.

Occasional
Bit of an understatement
Also, the search fields for history and bookmarks seem to stop working randomly, same for the address bar.

I got an update 2.0.1303.3. Been using it since the previous one i.e. 2.0.1302.3. Upgraded to that from 1.15 stable and so far so good.
