I've been using Vivaldi as my browser since I got my new computer. It has been incredible as a browser, in comparison to even Firefox and Chrome. However, today it started acting weird with its sound. When I start up Vivaldi, everything is as it should be. When I go to YouTube or KissAnime, videos play correctly for the first video I click on. However, if I were to click on a new video to open the video in the current tab or right click and open in new tab/window, the new video has no sound. If I go back to the previous video, it now has no sound either. From there on, anything with playback has no sound. I haven't messed with my sound settings. I already checked all my drivers. I checked to make sure the sound is actually going to the appropriate output and it doesn't even register that Vivaldi is making sound at all in the Volume Mixer. I am only running 3 extensions, since I first installed Vivaldi so I don't think they're the cause: FVD Speed Dial, uBlock Origin, Poper Blocker. Any help or suggestions? Closing Vivaldi and opening it again fixes it for just one video, then after that, no sound on playback.

Try in a private window, then you can count out extensions.

In addition to what luetage suggested:

1.) What exact vivaldi version do you use? (you can look this up in the first line at vivaldi://about)
2.) What Windows version do you use?
3.) What security software do you use? (firewall, antivirus etc)
4.) Does this issue only apply to videos or to audio only stuff too? (like soundcloud for example)

I tried using a Private Window, and as I suspected, it was still broken. So I assume I can cross the cause being an extension off the list.
1.) I use Vivaldi version 1.15.1147.42, which the update checker says is the latest update.
            2.) I use a Windows 10 Home 64-bit OS.
3.) I use Windows Defender and Firewall for security.
4.) I tested soundcloud, and yes, this issue extends to audio only as well.
EDIT: If I use a Private Window, even the first video is broken. (I am assuming "Incognito" = Private?)

Just tried what you suggested. I deleted Downloads, Cookies & Storage, Cache, and Applications Cache. Closed out of Vivaldi, relaunched, and then tested. Issue is still present.

A bit of an update, but this appears to have self-fixed itself. Was notified that I need to restart my PC to allow Windows Update to do its thing. Restarted, came back, tested again and things (seem) to be working. If this issue resurfaces, I'll ask for help again. As it stands, it appears to be fixed. I have no clue what the issue was... thanks for the help, otherwise!

@kitsunenomeiji Thanks for the update - whatever the issue was in the first place.
