Vivaldi 1.15 RC 2 – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.15.1147.32
-
The regression from two snapshots back, that opening a new tab does not have the address bar in focus still exists.
-
@13-beta2 It is really not important, but the icon is too small. No problem for me, I use my own:
my Vivaldi icon -
@braykov In Settings, Tabs,, Tab handling, and disable "Focus Page Content on New Tab," if you wish to focus the address field.
-
@orlando-ma 5 days or less.
-
@pesala It would be better to rename the feature to "focus addressbar on New Tab", would not it?
-
@peter: Yup, I have the same issue. 90% UI zoom in settings (UI zoom, not page zoom), custom scalling in Windows 10 settings. Opening new windows is fine, opening new private window open it with 100% UI zoom. Changed UI zoom value and tried again -- no changes.
-
@pesala: I don't use standalone and I have this bug.
-
The runaway vertical scrollbar bug is still present in 1.15.1147.32 .

-
@raed Doesn't reproduce here. All of my favicons load everywhere. Do you use any extensions?
-
I see a strange bug:
- go to a tab with some page opened there
- write there another url
- press enter
result:
the original url is reloaded
-
@burbuja Hm. Can't get that to happen.
-
@ayespy I see, it does not happen always, I have no idea on what it depends ...
-
Hi !
My bug VB-39469 fixed. Why I didn't noticed it solved ?
How can I access to my bugs (such as bugzilla website) ? -
@adrien_d There is no public bug-list
-
@burbuja said in Vivaldi 1.15 RC 2 – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.15.1147.32:
@adrien_d There is no public bug-list
Why ?
-
@adrien_d The founder has chosen over the last several decades not to deal with public bug lists. One of the reasons at the moment is that the very small team is not adequate to maintain one. Another is that such lists, especially given a community with such active user participation and feedback, tend to generate more queries than they answer, and can even become the subject of flame wars over why certain bugs do or don't have priority.
In your case, your bug was closed as being a duplicate of an earlier report, and that bug, 39450, was reported fixed at the top of this blog entry: "[Regression] Crash on attempt to open links from external apps and having extensions that listen to chrome.tabs updates installed (VB-39450)"
-
@raed Later in the day, I noticed folders with no favicons in them. Click on any bookmark and all of the favicons come back. All of them at once. It's a bit odd. I'll report it.
-
nevermind, works for me
-
Hmmm soo curious will the next snapshot be a 1.16 or a 2.0 ??? If the latter ... will it be with M3 ???
-
@burbuja: We also have a hamburger icon if you'd prefer that. (in the appearance settings)
