VB-36600 -- still a problem in 1.15.1094.3 [ie, updating SD TNs still crashes V].

or herself...

@ian-coog Presuming that you're still using Windows, i'll just add confirmation that it's also now good in Linux.
-
@juniorsilva30 that's a bit overkill, just copy/paste the magnet url into utorrent, it still worked
-
@sophos02 mega extension is pretty required if you plan to dl larger files (1gb or so), unless you want to download them with jdownloader or such downloaders.

Yes Yes! lol, I was doing it when it was possible, but there is a website that I can not do that, because until the link has to go through an advertisement, then when this advertisement ends it is not accessible to copy the link, I think which seemed confusing lol, but anyway, problem was fixed! :))

Someone can confirm, some pages, for example: Google translator and Reddit do not finish loading. Image
-
@ian-coog
i use it really rarely and it is not required w/ firefox. Vivaldi certainly should not crash...
but i will try the extension jffEdit: Okay.. thats it. With the extension it does work. But i do not think, that that is the way it is supposed to be.

I cleared the cache, it did not help, so delete the profile and now it is without this problem, a new profile solved!
Edited: Strangely the problem with Reddit continues!

Several sites including tmz.com do not fully load. Not all of the elements load and gets stuck in loading, and it takes 2-5 minutes to fully load. It has done this all day. I tried loading tmz.com in Yandex, and it loaded it in less than three seconds. That rules out bad connections, the websites or my computer. I love Vivaldi, but this is a deal breaker. I hope this gets fixed soon.
-
@dlbryant Chances are it's not Vivaldi at all, but your 3rd party security software, an extension, or something like that.
-
@linfan: its works indeed. I am very happy about this
-
Howdy.
I just noticed when watching an HTML5 stream in full-screen mode that the horizontal menu bar remains visible. -
@steffie: or themselves...
-
@sophos02: Yes, it should work with or without the extension.
-
@juniorsilva30: Do you use any blocker? Reddit does not load if scripts from redditstatic.com don't load.
-
Well, thanks for the update. However, there are still problems with full screen mode on youtube videos. But now instead of sidebar we have horizontal menu (toolbar) still left in picture...tested on both machines one with win 7 ultimate x64 and win 10 on x64 Vivaldi

@ayespy: I can't use uBlock Origin or AdBlock on several sites, including tmz.com, as it stalls on the last few elements of the page. Without the adblocker, Vivaldi loads that site in 12 seconds. Google Chrome with the blocker loads in 2.7 seconds. If I can't block ads, it's certainly a deal breaker. Until it's fixed, I'm switching to Chrome. Sorry.
-
@gwen-dragon: Hi & thanks again for this prompt response. Where on the Vivaldi sites can I run a search so that I wouldn't post already known observations in the future and thereby reducing the number of posts ye have to go through?
-
I can't test this with the current snapshot, as it's not out for Mac. With the last Mac snapshot (1.15.1090.3) tmz.com loads in ~2 secs with uBlock Origin enabled.

For someone using snapshot builds which are explicitly prone to breaking individual things, you seem a bit sensitive. Maybe just stay with Stable?
