nice list of fixes. let's try it!
-
Good to see that scheduled themes bug fixed. Thanks.
-
Youhou for VB-37146 !! That was quick !
-
@cqoicebordel: Ok, it's only half fixed. With an URL in the field, place the cursor at the beginning and press delete.
-
[Settings] https:// in the welcome page can’t be removed (VB-37146)
This only added the ability to delete the autofilled https:// but it is still a mess, Vivaldi still insists in adding https:// whatever you type in the Startup/Homepage/Specific page.
Really, just remove autofill "feature", user must enter correct urls himself. Don't add problems where there shouldn't be.On a side note, after updating this PC from previous snapshot with the full installer, the default was set to Specific Page, while I had it set to Startpage.
-
@ian-coog: Indeed. It's exactly what I suggested when filing VB-37146 : delete the whole autofill code
Sadly, it wasn't done. -
Vivaldi does not start the UI with some --user-agent command line switches (VB-29162)
also user agent switcher extensions seem got back to work now.
-
Thank you very much for fixing the [Fullscreen] Panels are not hidden in fullscreen mode VB-37039 !
-
Bad work (((
you cannot delete the http in the settings ((( It is set itself automatically, this is a problem when opening applications -

Yes Yes Yes problem !!!!
-
[Themes] Set scheduled theme on window open (VB-36292)
confirmed working now
-
Looks like [Regression] Mouse pointer offset (VB-36503) did solve the problem for me and lets me use Vivaldi again as my main browser. Great job!
-
@cqoicebordel and to add another unresolved problem, I've tested again set Tabs/New tab page/specific page to vivaldi://startpage and boom, can't edit anymore the field.
Edit: I had to hexedit
hiew "%localappdata%\Vivaldi\User Data\Default\Local App Settings\mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli\000162.log" replacing all occurrences of vivaldi://startpage with spaces and then I could refill the specific page to, for example, http://google.com -
and prime video still not fixed ... back to google chrome
-
Nice work! Finally the magnet links work, at least on 64 bit.
-
@linfan confirmed, at least the unknown scheme error doesn't appear anymore
-
Exactly. I want Ecosia as default, with StartPage or DDG for private windows. Awesome addition.

It's also possible that some of the fixes in Vivaldi, or Chromium, fixed the mega.nz problem:
mega.nz/#!sLQHwQzL!zZ_X5UKFeajcbse8KAKkzuuhxCYKXQRJZAqyD3K5p5o
LibreOffice.v5.4.0.WIN64.MULTi-FREE .rar, 226mb
is downloading so far without crashing Vivaldi
