Greasyfork script installing
-
Now I'm using 1.14.1077.41 (Stable channel) (x64) Vivaldi browser.
When I using 1.13 stable there is no problem installing scripts by greasyfork using tampermonky(version 4.5).
But when I turn to 1.14 stable (1.14 snapshot also cannot do the right thing, so at that time I turned to stable version) when I click on the "intall this scripts" button, It turned out to download the script instead to install the script? How to solve this problem?By the way, the Vivaldi forum do not support gif picture?

@rtransformation Just don't use Tampermonkey. You can install userscripts by dropping them on the extensions page. This is one of the advantages Vivaldi has over Chrome and Opera.

@luetage Using this installation approach, can the scripts downloaded from greasyfork be updated automatically?
-
@rtransformation No, they can't -- that's the downside. The upside is you don't have to run an additional extension. Userscripts use less resources, although that doesn't really matter considering an extension uses less resources than a tab.

@luetage Thank you for your answer.

@luetage Useful info. Thanks. Gotta test that

@yes-aravind another problem appeared when again used the newest snapshot version 1.15.xxxx.
When I watched a video and fullscreened it, the left panel still in the whole screen. This maybe a bug. -
Dropping US on the extensions page, installed the script but, it doesn't function as expected. Maybe I messed up something in there? I don't know.
@rtransformation : Currently the best way to get things done is - by copying the script completely and pasting it in tampermoney through "Add new script" option. -
@yes-aravind I knew this, but how can I find the update source website?
