Thanks very much for all of your great work. I don't have a specific favourite moment from 2017; it's just amazing to see all of the improvements that have been made since Vivaldi 1.6. You should be tremendously proud of everything that you have accomplished!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and all the best in 2018!

Many thanks and Happy Holidays to all:)

Amazing to see Vivaldi come a long way, and it has been getting a lot of press in some of the tech sites. -
Thank you for all the amazing work done on Vivaldi during the year.

Thanks for all the great work you've done this year! I think you made more progress this year than you have in all previous years. Sync is finally out in the snapshots, which makes one of two major features finally out, and next is getting it out on stable and then mail!
Merry Christmas!

Thank you very much for an excellent product, fruit of sure more than one night without sleep.
Have a happy Christmas among your beloved ones and a pass to the prosperous new year, without too much hangover.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all.

Thanks, happy holiday too.
Speaking about the "do the right thing", what about making Vivaldi go legit open-source, as-in the development model, not just source code readable.

Thanks to the Vivaldi team to keep making the best browser for us, especially as a former Opera user going way back (v3.21 on a floppy)
Merry Christmas -
Happy Holidays et Merry Christmas to all ! Thanks for all, browser and mail/blog services !
BTW, seems there is, at least, a fake snake man in the 1st picture -
Vivaldi, the gift that keeps giving all year round. Happy holidays all!

Vivaldi Team,
Thanks for all your hard work since (and previous to) the fist Alpha release!
Hoping you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy and successful New Year.
Cheers, Sköl, Sláinte... -
Thank you all for your incredible work! I had a hard time letting go of my beloved Opera 14, and used Vivaldi as a secondary browser when it first arrived- but no more. I deleted Opera and Vivaldi is the only browser I've used for two years. It has surpassed Opera in nearly every way (less a few customization options, which I'm sure will arrive eventually, like different themes and buttons).
My favorite moment is when you added audio/muting options for active and inactive tabs. I also love mouse gestures and couldn't live without them! I actually just discovered Filter Invert and use it all the time now at night.
Your community would love to support you with donations. Please consider setting up a Paypal account. I feel guilty using something for free that has so dramatically improved the way I browse. I've raved about Vivaldi to all my family and friends. Will you consider it?

Happy Holidays to all Vivaldi teams!

Maybe this is appropriate as explanation of a greater change that is happening. |

Hello! First of all Happy holidays, and a Merry Christmas, plus of course lots of goodness in 2018.
I am a happy user of Vivaldi, been so for two years. My first post was to ask for a gender neutral icon instead of the so very male icon; it seems this request has been met with meanwhile, on the users' page I only see circles with letters for the non-customized icons. Well done!

Ooh you jammy B***etc. (m/f, obviously). Fun job, nothing but universal praise, wonderful countryside, not too much sun, flooding, drought or war, unaffected by b***etc Brexit, or indeed practically anything else - you've got it made! Happy Christmas (I'm allowed to say that here I think; otherwise delete and substitute Holidays) !

@lakeinholland: Dunno what happened there, but sorry anyway.

Happy Christmas Vivaldi team.... this browser has definitely come in to rescue at the right time in 2017 and packs a good bit of power browsing features and customization, where all other browsers have either dropped the ball sadly, or never had it to begin with and have no intention of doing better. So I look forward to see what you do in 2018 with the browser. I also don't see the malevolence of Google et al Microsoft stopping to undermine and abuse the trust of end users in there general practices. So keep it up on the awareness front for things that are going on.
