Support for creating shortcuts for your extra mouse buttons (3/4/5). Currently if you go to Keyboard shortcuts you can not assign any of the extra mouse buttons to any shortcut. This is a big oversight in my opinion and I'm surprised it's not implemented yet.

When I right click on the search field in Vivaldi's history search I'd like to be able to add it as a search engine.
So that whenever I type (e.g.) "h [search string]" Vivaldi's history page would open up in a new tab showing me the history results for that search string. I think that way I'd use your history far more often and it would make using it easier. Thanks for your time!

The option to hide/show UI elements should be configurable also per window.

So I can have one window with no UI elements and a specific web application open, while in the other window I have tabs and do normal browsing.

Also if this setting would be combined with the previous posted feature, you could launch web applications without Vivaldis GUI elements from start menu; the setting to launch as new window and without GUI elements then needs to be somehow stored in the shortcut

An option for windows users to put the close button of tabs on the left side, hidden behind the favicon until mouseover, like on mac.

For some reason I just found it nice to have it there, as it uses the space more efficiently.

Absolute independence for the address field! -and more accurate "stop loading page"

As I press enter my browser is on the way I know that. But as the page loads, let's say I decided to do something else. The most of the times I need to wait until the page loads.
What if my address bar was a magic? Think of the opportunities. I hope you guys at Vivaldi can come up with many different ideas.

                    Rearrange and group search engines

                    Congratulations for vivaldi !!!

I make a lot of use of the search engines. I currently have around 40. It would be interesting to be able to move search engines. For example, to group search engines for images, video, synonyms, dictionaries, etc. It would also be interesting if they could be grouped into folders or categories.

                    Thanks for your work!

A Way Better Ctrl+U (page source view)

What if I could make changes at the page source field(opened with ctrl+U shortcut) and see the changes I made at the webpage live! Instantly!
Wouldn't it be time saving to those who work with web developing? Or even to non-tech designers? After all everyone will need them this way or other

Also you can improve it too... For example I could fold or collapse code strings.. like folding the <head> tag... or like folding(or collapsing) scripts for a better sight..

I don't want to quote from Opera... Do you remember we could open the page source and play with the codes because this section was... editable!..

                        Extensions! Approved by Vivaldi Itself!

I'd like to see/know which extension works fluent with my browser and which has issues at which level.

Think iOS and Android app stores. iOS is... clean!..
When I install an app I know I don't have to worry about many things like bugs or malwares or etc...
So you can, time to time check, most frequently used extensions and feature them to Vivaldi users somehow. Maybe a red V indicate at Chrome store or idk you name it 😉

Less memory usage and faster scroll back for lots of Tabs!

At the moment, I've got 77 of them opened -according to Onetab app. And the number is increasing. I don't want to reload the page I was on a few minutes ago. It should load from my computer's cache. After all most pages are static and don't change content with in 5 minutes

Sessions or apps can't help. Also we need less memory usage, faster scroll backs please. This wish will never end doesn't matter how fast we get

Edit: When I reopen Vivaldi with tabs loaded it makes me wait long enough to get bored waiting. Can you find a way around it?

                            More Efficient History!...

Nothing to criticise here :)) I love it!.. Just make it better and better guys!

ie: Bulk Deletion of a certain page or pages (as in outlook .com) Allow me swipe a spesific page from the whole history without the need to search it one by one

                              Extensions of My Own Creation

I'm using official Office Online extension and it occupies lots of memory. What if I could pile up a few links and put it under 1 icon at the address bar? Cool right?

                                Multiple Instances of Vivaldi

It would be incredibly helpful if you could have multiple "instances" the same way that Chrome, Comodo and Brave have. This would make it easier to manage multiple accounts as their data would all be separate.

Backspace Shouldn't Go Back in History!

This feature's been around since like stone age, I believe it's time to bury it for the "greater good"

I try to delete something on the website, press it but oops I'm back in the history and everything I've written is gone
I personally have never benefited this option in my life! Honestly speaking not even once!... Anyone did? idk For me even then I used Alt+leftarrow(s) to go back and forward.
There are so many better ways to go back with Vivaldi( and on mouses as hardware also).

Multiple rows of tabs in the tab bar (multi-row tabs)

This is really essential to me. Research often results in large numbers of tabs temporarily, and a single row just doesn't cut it.

Draw some inspiration from the Firefox extension Tab Mix Plus. Indeed, multi-row tabs are one of the most missed features now that Tab Mix Plus is no longer usable in Firefox Quantum. It was also supported in Opera 12 if I recall correctly.
Please give alienated Firefox users a new option!

Also, the size of tabs should be configurable (min/max tab size, sized according to caption).

An integration to communicate with other apps on my phone.

I am using CRM and project app on my phone.. Also on my laptop through browser and/or local installs.
What if I could bind them together? Create cards at Trello. IFTTT automations, Asana, Nextcloud, Slack, Workflow... or Zoho, even Pivotal Tracker...

Anything could be possible with such inter-connectivity

                                        Button to hide tabs.
My tabs are on the right side which is fine for most of my work - but occasionally it would be nice to be able to toggle them on/off like the left panel has the ability to do. I know I can make a keyboard shortcut for it, and going full screen mode will do this, but most times my window layout is tiled which does not work well for full screen mode, and a button would be nice.,

Thanks for a great browser, you rock

Please, add ability to resize tiled tabs. I use it a lot and after every update I have to update mod that does it, it also sometimes just breaks and it's annoying.
