Options windows opens with top hidden
-
I have Windows taskbar, and all vivaldi bars at top of screen. When opening options window, the top is hidden. I have to click on options window edge, as if I am adjusting size, to get it to drop down, so I can minimize or close the options window.

@astro46 Are you talking about settings opening in an own window? You can set "open settings in a tab" in
vivaldi://settings/appearance/
instead. -
@astro46 The default size is 740x800 pixels @ 100% UI Zoom.
If you have a low resolution screen, try reducing the UI Zoom to 90%
Ideally, the dialogue should remember its setting. I have already logged this as a bug/feature request:
(VB-16517) Settings Dialogue Does Not Remember its Size
Vote for this feature request too. That will solve the issue for most users.
@gregor said in Feature requests for Vivaldi 1.14:
Remembering the size and position of the setting window.

@pesala feature request voted for. thanks.
-
@luetage . ok. I did that. Thanks.
I also voted for having the settings window be able to remember its position. -
I guess that another approach would be to eliminate the separate options window, thereby not have to deal with its size and location code. just have it open as a tab.
