Can you change the order or remove the back, forward etc. buttons?
-
The latest thing that came up in a search was two years old.
At the moment, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to customize the buttons next to the address bar. Can you change the order or remove or add buttons in a way, like you could do in Opera? (Ie. by right-clicking and getting a menu.)

Regarding button sorting, that often ends up being one of the highest rated feature requests in the FR threads. I would suggest voting for it there and hoping eventually the devs will implement it.
In the meantime, you can change it using a CSS mod, see more in the modding sub-forum.

Thanks, I've been looking through some pages of that thread, what do you suggest I search for to find the post? "Button"? I don't know quite how to phrase it...

@nebu I would use this post: https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/161645 - It's listed as "customize toolbars".
If you want to search the feature request thread, you can't, but you can search the feature requests sub-forum. Click the search button, and in the advanced search box, select the feature requests sub forum. Then you need to limit the time by however long ago the feature requests thread was created, to prevent seeing the old threads.
That's an awkward way of doing it, but is currently the only way to do so. You could also go into the thread itself and clikc the sort button to view the most-requested suggestions.

Customising Toolbars is one of the top feature requests, but that does not necessarily imply that it will be implemented soon. That depends on how hard it is to do.
@d0j0p said in Feature requests for 1.13:
Ability to add/move/remove buttons and UI elements. (97 votes in the last thread)

Thanks, voted!

@pesala It's not hard to do at al, it's a priority thing, and it depends on the devs alone wether they think the feature is worthwhile.
