@iAN-CooG there is currently no duplicate bookmark finder that works correctly, for any browser.

@gaelle with each update the browser gets more confusing, I can't find my blog or where my friends blogs are only V things are more visible right off.
@Zenya the browser is mostly for power users (if I'm not mistaken), and those who like lots of features/options, thus it has many features. If you want a less confusing browser, I might recommend just using Chrome.

feature request for add a setting for changing drag link behavior
From vivaldi 1.8, when drag left/right on a link, it will select the link's text instead of drag the link.(i know drag the link up/down will drag the link, but it's hard to use, and it's often select text instead of drag link)
It's useful when you exactly want to select the link text. But i think you want to drag the link most time.
So my request is that is it possible to add a setting to let user decide what the behavior is.
And add a key mapping to change the behavior temporary(for example, hold the ctrl or alt key). Thanks

I'm always worried about losing my bookmarks, history and passwords that i have been saved into Vivaldi. Please add cloud saving for the passwords, settings and bookmarks... like google chrome or Firefox do.

Ability to scroll through open tabs. This would work nice specially when having the tabs on the side.
Also a nice animation would be nice for side tabs where all tabs are small except the one that is opened which is a bit larger in height and displays the whole website(based on screen size) -
@blureshadow When you have the option "Show Tab Cycler" activated you can scroll through the open tabs when hold down the right mouse button and use the scrollwheel or use "hold Ctrl + tip on the Tabkey".
To activate this option - go to:
Settings --> Tabs --> in the section "Tab Features" --> tick the box for "Show Tab CyclerOr did I misunderstood your request?

@D0J0P I didn't see your post, but now I voted. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is missing this vertical cycler.

It would be very cool if the next version could feature the change of the thumbnails of the folders too.
-
And an RSS reader would be amazing too.

Search bar should not block the scrollbar on the right side.

Improved Security Menu Access to Cookie Options
Currently, the security menu offers quick access to web api permissions, like "Microphone [Ask|Allow|Block]".
I don't allow cookies from new pages, but If I want to allow them, it can be tricky, and it would be nice to see an option that uses a drop-down similar to the other permissions, e.g. "Cookies [Allow from forum.vivaldi.com|Allow from *.vivaldi.com|Allow All (inc 3rd party) on vivaldi.com]" or somethign to that effect, so I don't have to browse through a separate modal to allow cookies for the website. -
Keyboard shortcuts > View > Status Bar
Make it cycling through all (current) options including "Show Status Info Overlay".
Currently, it's only toggling between Hide and Show, which is sort of useless when "Show Status Info Overlay" is the config used mainly, but sometimes the bar is needed.someone

@dLeon For the average user, though, its probably more user-friendly to be able to do it from the Vivaldi UI (although perhaps users who are not comfortable with fiddling around with profile files might not use JSON import/export either?)

Ability to automatically close duplicate of a tab
If there are a lot opened tabs and user opens link for already opened site - no need to add one more tab with the same url.
Note: there are some plugins in store, but they doesn't work properly -
Please, make custom colors for tabs, I opening 100 tabs a day and I want to be able to give to some tabs different colors to sort them as I want, this way I can work in one window. Right click on the Tab - and select color would be an amazing option, please implement it in the next release. Thank you!

Option to open a new tab per default outside of an existing stack.
For instance, I have stacks of tabs per client and often I for a quick look, I wheel-click ("open in new tab") on one of the links of a tab inside a stack and it opens as a new tab inside the same stack (which I then have to close again by selecting the right preview window and clicking on the X), while I just want to have it as a "separate" tab outside any stacks (easily closeable by wheel-clicking on the tab!).

@jvleminc In Menu/settings/Tabs/Tab Stacking, turn off "Open Tabs in Current Tab Stack."

Option to open a new tab per default outside of an existing stack.
If you don't want to disable the setting to open links in the current stack, drag the link and drop it on the New Tab button.
