"Suspend support for Linux 32-bit for Vivaldi 1.10"
Very sad -
@crywar: Unfortunately, this is due to Chromium suspending support for it and maintaining it ourselves would take too much resources.

@serpher: You need to be on Windows 8 or above. We've just added this detail to the Changelog for clarity. Thanks for pointing this out!
Win 7 users can do it like this:
Click on the "custom" thumbnail in the Settings > Start Page and enter the following in the filename input field of the file select dialog:%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\TranscodedWallpaper.jpg
This will change the image to the current image displayed on the desktop on each browser start.
-
@steffie: Yes. There was no time to get the (trivial) fix into the snapshot yesterday.
-
@quhno: Love the solution-oriented approach!
P.S. You can still choose a custom image whenever you want, of course -
Nice!
-
"Thumbnails are generated by default, but with the latest update, you can replace them with custom images or even animated GIFs to create the desired look."
I can't seem to find how to do this...
-
@pettern: At least, you should provide the latest available version for 32b, like you currently do for the WinXP version.
-
@quhno: nice
-
I'm asking for a new feature, allowing a pack of thumbnails to be installed directly (not thumbnail by thumbnail). It will allow the start of some theming exchanges cc @pettern
-
@JohnnyToumieh There's a button at bottom left to select a custom image, or you can use the right-click menu.
Create your images @ 440 x 340 pixels or 220 x 170 is enough for 100% UI Zoom

@pesala: It's not the right question : the switch of "recommended", means that before, the devs of Chrome and Vivaldi used mainly that version to test. Now, they have switched to the 64b. That means that the 64b version is more tested, and thus more stable. And that's the real reason for the switch here.
Beyond that, 64b means it's a bit faster, but use a bit more memory. The differences might not be visible. -
Congrats on 1.10
Interesting new feature
"[Mac] Tap with three fingers is swallowed (VB-15570)" -
@chas4: It is a bugfix not a new feature.
-
When you will release a mobile version? I'm looking forward to try it!
-
yay my idea was added WOOT!

Hello guys, I had the previous version installed and sincerely it surpasses in
Speed and efficiency all other browsers without any doubt, but there is even a lack of synchronization of settings, passwords, extensions, and in the password part to implement a search.There was a problem with his installation, because I was using the 1.9.818.50 version and selected "Search for updates" He found the update, downloaded the file, executed the installation, but in the program Manager and the Start menu now shows the two installations and not only the 1.10.867.38, could they resolve this?
