Clicking the "View Reply" button links for posts in the feed at https://vivaldi.net/ often don't jump to the right forum post in a thread. For example: <pre>

</pre> doesn't jump <a href="https://vivaldi.net/forum/browsers/144-who-uses-bookmarks-anyway?start=40#1777" target="_blank">this post</a>. The view reply links don't work when the forum thread has more than one page and the post isn't on the first page (because the element's id in the fragment identifier doesn't exist on the loaded page (the first)). Looks like the problem is that the view reply links are missing the start=40 (40 in this case as the post is on the 3rd page) in the query string.

I think that will be a disappointment to many who expect support for open standards, but it is of course not something done deliberately by anybody at Vivaldi.

WebP (WebM is video) isn't widely supported ATM, so I don't recommend using it just yet.

Not for production pages where you want to sell goodss etc. - but I must admit, that I really don't care for that in e.g. my blog when I write about such things or when the original image is a webP image.

The image uploader recodes the images anyway, so it should not be a big problem to provide a fallback for browsers that don't support it - and if it still is:

There are many really good people working for vivaldy: Just make it happen.

… or at least prompt the user and offer a service:
"This image can not be viewed with old browsers. Do you want us to convert to JPG for you?"

I did not pay much attention the first time this occurred but as it has happened again I thought I'd mention a possible bug:

I'd "Quoted" something in a Forum topic and changed my mind. Clicked on Cancel but nothing happened. Deleted the comment and backed out but was left with a blank comment.
Noticed the same happening again today. Cancel did nothing.

Anyone else notice this behaviour?

(Opera 12.16 for Linux on Mageia3, Intel Dual Core laptop)

I haven't noticed that because I haven't used Vivaldi enough. I just copied a chat from Google and found it munged until munged.
So there is definitely something wrong somewhere.

Just a little ugliness, when hovering over the top right buttons (Mail/Addressbook/Settings), a vertical scrollbar is visible in Opera 19.0.1326.47 on Windows 7 Pro (see screenshot).

I found a bug about (I suppose) blog post counter. There are 3 blog post in my account. One of them is Turkısh and two are English. If I change the language of vivaldi on my browser to Turkish like that "vivaldi.net/tr" I could see my all post.

However If I change the language of vivaldi as default one like that "vivaldi.net" I could not see a post that Turkish one.

Wenn ich mich auf vivaldi.net/de einlogge, so lande ich immer auf vivaldi.net/en und muss jedesmal die Sprache nach deutsch umstellen.

Wäre doch einfacher wenn man die gewünschte Sprache in den Einstellungen fix einstellen könnte.

How do I change my password for my account?

For example if I change my password by going to Prferences>>Account Settings and I enter a new password in the password fields it'll later show an error after I clicked save at the bottom. The error is caused by "The permalink provided is not available for use." in the Profile Permalink area however I did not change it and I am the one using it.

I was able to successfully change my password just now (3 times) on a testing account. I changed the permalink name the third time and still did not encounter a problem.

Can anyone else confirm this problem?

It still wouldn't let me. What I had to do was change my permalink name in order to change my password and add more information then afterwards I changed back my permalink name.
