Vivaldi 1.9 – Plant trees as you browse
-
I expect the browser to have built-in translation capabilities!~~
-
@oppaidaisuki: Browsers do not perform translation. Period. They connect to various cloud services with serious computing power that do translation.
-
So, has Vivaldi been modified yet to allow me to move my tabs below the address bar?
-
@klgrube: Nope. Still only above.
-
@oppaidaisuki: As @ayespy has said, no browsers has "true" built-in translation, Chrome feature is merely a "link", or an API. But this API access is charged, Vivaldi can't use without paying Google.
-
@oppaidaisuki Please use English in this forum, or post a translation.
Expect vivaldi to add the "multi-column display bookmark menu" function to the next update. Cent browser has this feature, I think this is very user-friendly, but also for those who bookmark a lot of people browsing the bookmark will be very convenient. And now the vivaldi browser bookmark folder will be very difficult to find a bookmark mouse wheel to scroll back and forth. [Multi-column display bookmark menu] will make bookmark bookmarks in the computer screen at a glance ~ there is not very perfect is: click the bookmark bar on the folder until the contents of the display, the load slower, The feeling of Caton. And open the bookmarks on the different folders even need to click the left mouse button, which is not an increase in the amount of operation? Feel the left click and then drag the mouse to preview the contents of the different folders is not better ~

@Dantesoft e is the shortcut, name is Ecosia.
Ah, you meant that. Thanks. In the Vivaldi parlance, what you call "shortcut" is called "Nickname", and what you call "name" is called "Description". Quite confusing, isn't it?
According to the screenshot, Dantesoft shows, Ecosia's description is "Ecosia" and its nickname is "e". I've got it.
-
@Tyrone Personally I lost interest when I found out it was Bing...
-
@mossman Ditto.
-
I cannot understand the hatred for Bing or Google, or whatever. Search engines need to make money to pay Vivaldi for installing them, so that we can get free software.
Only Buddhist monks get a free lunch, and there are strings attached to living off the donations of others too.

Yes, a picture is worth 1000 words, sorry for the confusion.

“Make me one with everything”.
-
@Pesala It's not hatred - Bing just isn't very good, in my experience.

LOL...

@mossman I don't know about "any more," because I was never a very heavy Bing user - in fact, hardly used it it at all. But in the last few days I compared it to Google, and was not satisfied. For the KIND of research I do, it doesn't measure up. If I was using my search engine for shopping, it might do the trick. But that's not what I do.
-
@Dantesoft It wasn't funny the last time either.. Becoming one with everything is not even a Buddhist idea — no wonder the Dalai Lama didn't get the joke.
-
@Gwen-Dragon - Hah! Two non-native English speakers, misunderstanding each other in English! Who could have guessed it would ever happen?!?
In your defense, @Gwen-Dragon, I have to confess I have a good deal of difficulty understanding @Quinca71 as well. I usually puzzle it out, but I actually have something of a gift of understanding non-native speakers. I fear you're at a disadvantage.
-
@Quinca71: simpler language often communicates better.
-
@pesala: Thank you for your reply.Generally speaking,I want vivaldi to add the "multi-column display bookmark menu" function.I am happy if the official can accept my feedback.
-
@an_dz: I see. Thank you very much for your answer٩(◕‿◕。)۶
