Vivaldi 1.9 – Plant trees as you browse

@An_dz And whether there will be a mode of updating of pages on the set time? When will the synchronization of personal data?

Oh and do you know the default search nickname?
If you mean for Ecosia - the default nickname is Ecosia
-
An option to change the screenshot folder
Thank you!

@Sebastian69 Settings, Webpages, Capture, Capture Storage Folder.

Quick commands are brokend since 1.9 in my browser; are you experiencing the same issue?
(Plus it would be nice if it autocompletes.... however, this was never actually working.) -
And I want to thank you for this browser, Vivaldi team!
(I dont like when ppl disparage your work here.) -
@vivald777 many people still use winXP and can't use Vivaldi newer than 1.1 if that matters. I have a core2 duo at work with only 2Gb ram, win7 32bit, Vivaldi works just fine.
-
@Urza quick commands works here, what is exactly "broken" for you?
have you reported with extreme detail to vivaldi.com/bugreport ? -
All functions in Vivaldi is great!

this browser is just ridiculous... all other browsers are faster...<
The really ridiculous thing is that the true is the exact opposite of what you say (actually Vivaldi is faster than Opera, Chromium, Firefox - tested on Linux Mint 18.1 vs Windows 7 Ultimate - both on pc desktop and old Compaq laptop...)
Considering also that it is a relatively new browser, I say it works great. Anyway, if you experience some issue with Vivaldi, why don't you help devs explaining what's goin on, instead of post unnecessary comments? -
@vivald777: And yet, the default browser on all six of my dual core devices is Vivaldi...
-
Ugh some settings reset again because of the update (I think my themes got reset... anyway the appearance is annoying)
Well I'll try out the engine if it won't be too detrimental to my search experience -
@luvmets: Stop spreading this false, alarmist crap.
-
@student975: Which Linux? On my Mint 18.1 (Serena) it behaves exactly as expected.
-
@aa111 I long for the en-straya day.

Is not the best Vivaldi release (at least under Linux)
Is working delectably well on this little purple duck's Linux.

Every update is a great surprise to me! It's awesome how the developer's team is working to make this navigator evolve, improving it's features and priorizing the user experience without sacrifying the sweet appearance it has.

@Quinca71 If anything, nowhere in Ecosia site they claim to have a Chrome extension, and the Chrome extension does not look official. For Firefox they do have a blog post about it. There are complains that it hijacks searches from other engines, or something like that, but not that it can't be uninstalled or disabled.

Thanks for your help! Yes, I wanted to add the same nickname as Vivaldi uses by default. (I've manually added Ecosia.)
